Be carefull when updating Jeppesen Flitestar to version 8.51 using the data-update disk. After that update, Peter Dowson's FStarRC program is not functioning properly anymore (at least in my system)... :-eekIF you update, make sure that you have a backup of your old Flitestarversion for security.

Ooops! Too late, just finished an update via the Internet... :-(Stamatis

Are you using win98?...i stopped using petes conversion app because it wasnt supposed to work in winxp (im running xp).Theres another conversion tool ive been using successfully lately...its called "FstarToFs2k"...its probably in the avsim file library.basically you just export the fstar plan to a plain text file using the option in the file menu of flightstar, then startup the conversion app and point it to the text file you just exported. it will convert it to an fs2k2 plan and place it in the myflights directory for you.ive been using it mainly so i can load my VFR plans made with fstar into the realityxp gps system...i suppose it should be fine to use with the new rc3 as well.Dave
