December 13, 200223 yr As Requested yesterday on this Forum:1) Read the RC V3 Manual pages 105 and 106, keeping in mind that the PSS A320 DOES have a COM2 radio set up (ie: ignore steps 1-9). The PSSA320 panel however does NOT have a built in method of monitoring the COM2 radio. You have to modify your panel.cfg file to add that capability. Luckily it is easy!2) Find your PSSA320 panel.cfg file. Note that there is only 1 panel.cfg that is used for all PSS A319, A320 and A320 aircraft - so you only have to modify one file! It can be located at: "C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFS2002aircraftPSSAB-Propanelpanel.cfg"(or something similar if you did not chose the default installation options)3) Make a backup copy of the panel.cfg file before editing it.4) Open the panel.cfg file using a text editor and search for the line:gauge00=PSS-A320!Pedestal, 309, 0, 715Immediately after that line, insert the following line:gauge01=737-400!Audio, 739,711,162,29This will place a small audio selection area onto the lower right corner of the A320 pop up "throttles" panel (Shift+4) (ie: the one you use for engine start, transponder selection, etc)5) When you start up FS2002, and have power to the A320 panel, select the "COM2" button on this audio selection panel. Make sure that "BOTH" is not selected. This will set FS2002 to use COM2 as the frequency for its built in ATC chatter (including conversations with MyTraffic type AI traffic.) (One other sidenote - on the PSSA3XX you can only dock the AdvDisp window to one of your panel views. For example, the full screen panel view, or the reduced version that you get when you press SHIFT+2; not both)6) Start up RCV3 as normal, and follow its instructions7) Refer to the RCV3 manual, page 106, item # 14, and occasionally bring up the FSATC window using the ` key and make sure you are on the right "local" frequency. This might be difficult to do until you get into the air if you filed an IFR flight plan with FS2002 (ie: positioned your aircraft using the FS "Flight Planner") - but it works fine if you don't.Once airborn, select the FS2002 departure frequency when you get a second, and you will hear all the traffic calls for the MyTraffic aircraft or other FS AI traffic that you see flying around you. As it says on page 106, do not "talk to" FS2002 ATC at all. Do not request VFR, select the ATIS or anything! Just occasionally select the local frequency, and listen! Make sure that you have the FSATC window closed all of the time that you are selecting RC options, or you may accidentally contact FS2002 ATC, and just confuse everything!RC and FS will sometimes talk at the same time, which can be a little distracting, but by adjusting the ATC volume lower in your FS2002, Options, Settings, Sound menu, I have found that this distraction is minimal.Enjoy :)
December 13, 200223 yr Could have saved yourself a lot of typing by using the search function ;)http://ftp.avsim.com/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboa...31&viewmode=all - Dean P3Dv4 & XP11 space

Someone else was asking for it to be posted there, since they thought it was a little too cumbersome for everyone to be trying to search for it.
