How can I change the default spot plane view distance?

I want to make it so the spot plane defaults to 150 ft distance from some planes because on some it is just way too close. How do I do this?

Click on 'Views', then click on 'View Options'. In 'View Options' you can select your desired distance.

download "tcdfsview" it lets you modify the model so the view distance is out as far as you want. It also changes the view you see in the initial aircraft select menu.

Note that there's a trick using tcdfsview.1) In FS set the view using view options/distance that you like2) Remember that distance3) Convert to Metric4) Divide by 55) Enter that number in tcdfsview6) Click nodifyThat'll do it.

Hehe yeah i noticed that tcdfsview wasn't in feet after i tried 150 :)

:-lol and then multiply by 5 - 750 meters away! The divide by 5 is a FS thing. I don't know why MS can't make anything simple.
