Handling Approach delays

Recommended Posts

Guest lou ross

What is the best way to handle a delay in RCv3 for the approach: 1) keep up the airspeed in order to get to a specific point determined by ATC to get turned inbound, or 2) keep the power back, saving fuel, and get turned inbound based on time? How is RCv3 programed? By the way, I do appreciate this great program (but I'm sure that's been said before). lr.

not sure if this is the answer, but for delay vectors before you are switched to approach, is based on distances, not times.if you choose holding pattern, it is based on distances.jd
