RC4 Request

Recommended Posts

In flight filing or flight following. Why:VFR on top to below or vice-versa.Flight following through congestion, class B, etc.Sudden meteorolic changes to IMC or temporary IMC penetration (so I don't have to go around a line clouds of significant height).Traffic Advisories. How:RC would know where we are and altitude and pick the nearest waypoint or optionally we could designate it with desired altitude if appropriate with RC vectoring us to the first waypoint. We give it a waypoint and optional altitude as destination.Or load a prepared flight plan in flight (we should have prepared one for cross-country VFR anyway) and RC activates it by location nearest a waypoint in the file. It would issue appropriate altitude changes and/or request we designate a cruising altitude. An in-flight hot-key lets us start RC and bring up the dialog to accomplish this mess. When RC starts it should note if we are not on the ground, that is the state of the filing aircraft, and bring up the correct dialog box.The basic change would be the ability to not have an airport as the start and ending points and to pick up the current location starting RC while a flight is in progress.Any of this make sense?
