Hi JD, I am Manually creating the route in FSNAV, than using it's export function to export to Radar Contact. But I get no WP's in the RC FP box or in ADV Display.

Hi Jim,Export the plan in FS200x format, NOT Radar Contact format.Than use FS2004(*.pln) button to import the plan into RC.NB. You say you use FSBuild but the screenshot you show is from FSNavigator...

send me the .pln file. if there are no checkpoints in the .pln file, rc isn't going to see any checkpoints.or open the .pln file with notepad, ctrl-a, ctrl-c, and reply to this post, and ctrl-v the contents here.i'm curious what is going onjd

what program generated this? that is not a fs200x .pln file.that looks like a rc .apl file from who knows whenthe process is, in the planner, save or save as or export to .pln file format. not to rc format (.apl)then in rc, click fs200x .pln file, and read in the .pln file.something very screwy going on here.can you tell me exactly what steps, click by click is happening?jd

Hi JD, I had the wrong file path from FSBuild 1.4.3 to the radar contact folder. I was going to the main, instead of the saved , and had some corrupt FP files. I have FSNav also, what is the best method of creating and loading flight plans?

there is a pretty good explanation on how to do it in the documentation.basicsmake your flight plan. make it from airport to airport, not runway to runway. have at least one checkpoint. make the last checkpoint as close to the arrival airport as possible. save the flight plan in the native flight planner format for later use. also save/save as/export to fs200x flight plan format .plnremember where the planner puts the .plnstart rc, click fs200x .pln button, navigate to where the .pln file is, select it, click okdonejd

Is the above for CF9 and FSNav? I must be missing something, because when I use the FSNav export function to send the FP to RC and hit the fs200xpln button, the status line freezes.
