Hi, can someone kindly tell me please how to exactly defrag hardware as this may be causing sound problems on RC4 and also can anyone give me an exact link to Hewlett Packard sound driver update for Realtek AC97 audio, thanks.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/for...argo_hauler.gif http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e62/ritz...tishAirways.jpg http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e62/ritzer82/untitled.jpg

I assume by defrag hardware you mean defragmenting your hard drive? If that is so, go to the "Start" menu, then show all files, then "accessories", then "system tools", then choose "disk defragmenter". Windows will analyze your hard drive (I assume it is C:) and recommend if you should defragment. Depending on your system speed, hard drive size, etc., this could take a while if you have never done it. The built-in Windows utility is actually quite good. Some "experts" recommend doing the defrag 2-3 times in a row for maximum effect. The second/third times take much less time. Some also recommend doing the defrag in clean boot mode. And, some say you should also disable your internet connection before beginning the defrag.Hope this helps.
