Very strange - KPVD won't show up

Recommended Posts

I prepared a flight plan from KPVD to CYQB and loaded it in FS2004 and in RC. RC does not show KPVD as being part of the plan, and the FSUIPC dialog box shows frequency info for CYQB, even though I'm sitting parked at PVD. I am running FlightZone Rhode Island and have not made any changes to it or RC. I ran "Rebuild Scenery DB" just in case, but to no avail. Attached are pix, a debug, and the origianl flight plan. Please let me know if this is a config issue. I can tell you I've never seen this before.

I agree, there is a problem with Rhode Island, especially the politicians they elect. I live right next door in Mass., so we're just a bunch of "MI TRIED TO USE A PROFANITY HERE - AREN'T I STUPID!s" here electing Kennedys as well. :-lolThanks for the fix. I did search for KPVD, but not Rhode Island, so that explains it. With all the rain we've had, I couldn't take not being able to fly real weather with IFR.

I'll tell ya Neil, I visited New Bedford many many years ago. I remember that being some of the prettiest country I've yet seen, and relaxing atmosphere. Doubt I'll ever forget that trip. It's actually on my retirement to-do list, to go back. No reason, no family up there... just to go.

I love New England for the natural beauty, but it's one expensive place to live, and the political leanings of many here aren't much to my taste. I went to college in Atlanta and lived in Gwinnett Cty, GA for 10 years in the 1980's, and the comparison is striking.

Yeah, I imagine it is expensive. I saw a show recently where they displayed four homes in that area (that's what made me think of all this). The homes were in excess of $1m. The one home I had time to watch that day... man, you'd not pay more than $300k (I mean, NO more than $300k!) in this area. Just wasn't that nice, certainly not in the "M" category. The draw was location. Anyway, tkx for bringing back peaceful memories:-)
