Runtime error 76

Recommended Posts

I keep getting the message "Runtime error 76 RadarContact.fsuipc.rcv4code" shortly after take-off, sometimes just before handover to Departure, sometimes just after.I re-installed RC4.2 and it went away, but after a couple of weeks it's back again. Can you suggest a solution please?

did you specify the .flt/.wx path, by clicking the .flt/.wx button?are you running autosave? you probably are, and when that kicks in to do a save of a .flt and .wx file, rc tries to write it's .rcd file to a path you specify.jd

>did you specify the .flt/.wx path, by clicking the .flt/.wx>button?>Do I have to click that button and specify that path every time I run RC?

I still get FS9 crashes and runtime errors.I run FSNavigator and crashes usually happen when hitting the F9 key to switch from FS to FSNav. Today I had a crash with terrain.dll error after flying for about an hour and asking RC4 for weather.I am not sure whether it's RC4 or something else causing the crashes, it's just that I never experienced similar issues before RC version 4.2.I run FS9 and RC4.2 with FSNav, ActiveSky, and a freeware sound program called pmsounds.

sounds like a machine specific problem. i know of at least two or three beta testers that have 4.2, fsnav, activesky.not sure about pmsounds. is that on our list of apps that have been tested with rc?what version of fsuipc? fs9 is patched to fs 9.1?jd
