La Guardia Scenery Problems...

I installed the LGA2002 scenery and while it looks fantastic, I am experiencing some strange issues:1. The shoreline washes up on land (i.e. the wave animations are playing on the land - even all the way up on the runways).2. The yellow terminal lighting blinks on and off erratically like a string of x-mas lights. Not sure if these are actually supposed to be cars (???) - but I don't think they should be blinking.3. Exceedingly low FPS at dawn and dusk (~5). ~15-20 at other times. Static scenery is NOT installed.Anyone else noticed this?J

Answers (not solutions :-( unfortunately).1. Yes the water does wash up on the SE corner. Tried to exclude it but it would not work. However this should not be affecting the runways as the LGA scenery addon is built entirely on the default land area. The only place affected by this I think is the car park area next to the Delta terminal.2. Terminal lighting? Not sure where the terminal lighting is...I know the taxiway signs are lit up.3. This was pointed out in the readme. The scenery is surrounded by the default NY which in itself is demanding in cpu resources. Hence although I do not know why specifically at dawn and dusk, but it will be slow with full dense option. One more issue, I forgot to upload the night textures by mistake due to a zip program issue. I will get my design computer back next week hopefully and will issue an update for LGA along with a few other updates. It may be the slow fps at dawn and dusk are as a result of FS looking for night textures and not locating them.One more thing, please check that you have followed all the install instructions included in the readme file (i.e. exclude/flatten etc.)RegardsShez

The behavior is similar to West Palm Beach where the FPS takes a nose dive at dusk/dawn. Great scenery! Has anyone made a new AFCAD file for this scenery, since the current AFCAD file has the aircraft parking in odd places, not using the new taxiways, and taking off next to the runway and not on it? If anyone has, would you be willing to upload it? If not, I will start working on one to upload.

I included an AFCAD file in a separate download but I know that the runways are misaligned (the parking spaces should be OK). Another member uploaded his own version soon afterwards. I have a corrected AFCAD file from someone who had done it to correct the runways but this was for my private use and not for distribution.Conclusion: Please go ahead and do a new AFCAD file for LGA. :-) Shez
