ATC Voices and geography....

Recommended Posts

Contemplating my first trans Atlantic flight with R/C, I was wondering how I get exclusively UK controller voices this side of the Atlantic, and only US controller voices 'that' side? I t seems completely random to me and there seems to be no way to attach a controller voice to a specific sector, unlike pilots which you are able to specify.Any help appreciatedPhil

I was wondering how I get exclusively UK controller voices this side of the Atlantic, and only US controller voices 'that' side? The short answer is you can't - that facility is not available in RC4 and you're correct in saying that the voices are allocated randomly from those available. Pete

Phil sort of beat me to it. Although I knew this couldn't be done in v4 I was wondering if it could be considered for v5?I realise that this could not be done for every possible destination but there seem to be plenty of American and British voices, so between the UK and US is perhaps more practical?CheersIain Smith
