Problem with "acknowledge" command

Recommended Posts

Guest ArndtLaube

Hello,I am a newbee to RC4 and just making my first steps ...My problem right now: RC4 doesn't react to the "acknowledge" command, while other commands are working properly (as far as I was able to test them).Several times I changed the keyboard definitions for the "acknowledge" command, restarted FS9 and RC4 again, but the problem remains. Therefore I am not able to proceed. Is there anyone, who can help me to solve this issue? Many thanks in advanceArndt

Is there a lot of chatter going on when you hit the ack command? In some cases that will slow things up but you will eventually be recognized. The next 4.x build may fix that. It is in beta test now.

Hello Ron,thank you for your message!I don't believe, that there is too much chatter. I tried RC4 on a small airport (EDNY)with not much AI traffic. And I waited for around 15 minutes or so after the "achnowledge" command.Best regardsArndt

you mean the "7" key?maybe something else is using itgo into rc, change the acknowledge key to ctrl-shift-7 maybe, and see if that helpsalso make sure you don't have pilot auto reply on. with pilot auto reply on, there isn't anything to acknowledge.jd
