In-flight Number Change/Permenant Freq. Change

In every flight, after I reach altitude, if I have a flight number like 2 82, it changes to 2 8 2 and stays that way for the remainder of the flight. Is this supposed to happen? flight numbers are grouped differently, depending on whether you are in the FAA controlled areas, or non FAA controlled areasfrequencies can be changed at your own riskmake a backup of the f4.csv fileuse notepad, not excel, to edit the f4.csv filefind PHNLchange the numbers that WERE the departure and approach frequencies, with the numbers that ARE the frequencies.saveif rc still runs, cool. if it doesn't, revert to the backup of the f4.csv filejd

Thanks for the help. Almost everything works very well. There's just one more thing that I thought would go away but only got worse. Today I was flying from Singapore to London and as time went on, delays between my inputs and the actual response increased. For example, when I tried to scroll through menu's during my decent, it took well over five seconds to switch. When you're getting ready to land in poor visibility, it's not fun to wait to select your approach. JD,I have raised this before. Is it not possible to map the Australian FIR to use the FAA logic as far as airline callsigns go, as Australia now uses the same callsign protocols as the USA?NeilYPAD

does australia still have transition altitudes and transition levels, depending on the airport?

JD,Australia has NEVER had varying transition altitudes/levels. The transition level IS FL110 and the transition altitude IS 10,000 feet.I hope that helps.NeilYPAD

that is different than the 180 of the faa. so i'm afraid at this point, it has to be considered non-faa which makes the number grouping and everything else non-faajd
