two hard drives

Recommended Posts

Guest JamesJ

I have two hard drives, the original 8GB 5400rpm whish has Windows 98SE and some other stuff on it and another 7200 rpm which has FS2002 and some other stuff on it. Does this make any difference? I have plenty of room on the hd that has Windows on it to install Fs2002 but can't figure out how and retain the version on the second hd for comparison purposes does anyone know how to do this? HiReal easy. Just copy your whole fs2002 directory to the "c" drive. The only thing is if you add anything to fs2002, it will be added to the original location because this is what is written to the registry when you first installed the game. To have programs loaded to your "c" drive, you will have to edit the registry so it points to the new location.Ed

Hi. Ed is right, but it only applies to the MSFS2K2. For other add ons you will have to reinstall them and tell them to go to the new Directory. I have copies that I run from D: and E:, in different configurations. TV
