Cant believe you can do this without crashing

Side slipped just before touchdown at 60 kts and landed sideways with no damage. At least a broken strut I would think. Ok, there was so many positive posts I couldnt stand it.BobG

You don't say what sort of aircraft you were in, but, apparanetly a 747 can land at 25 deg without any problems. Maybe someone more expert than I can confirm this.RegardsRussell Jourdain (NZL007/ZK-RHJ)

At 60kts, one has to assume it wasn't a 747.It's a flight sim. In real life, chances are you'd have a damaged aircraft, depending on aircraft and how sideways you were.

Well yeah, and, FS does (unfourtunately) either simulate you're Ok, or you have a total crash so maybe that landing was not bad enough...RegardsEtienne
