How To Map RC Responses To Joystick Buttons?

I've been trying to map some of the RC responses (1 and 7) to the joystick on FSX so I don't have to take my hand off of the stick to respond and have had no success. Is this possible and how to you do it?Thanks!Mike

Thanks for your response!I guess I'm not getting it. What do you mean by have the joystick "send". Can this be done through FSX Controls menu or do I need some other kind of program?Please help.Thanks!Mike

Never mind. I found out that I have to use a registered copy of FSUIPC4 which I don't have (just the free unregistered version). So I used a program called Joytokey which did the trick.Mike

your joy stick maker should have a utility, that allows you to configure what key stroke is sent, when you press a button.jd
