The highly-awaited A2A Bonanza V-Tail has been released for Prepar3D v4 and FSX.

The release early this morning follows a fifteen-minute promo video posted on the A2A Facebook page last night.

Infamous for its high performance and unforgiving flight characteristics, the Bonanza V-Tail is one of the most recognisable General Aviation aircraft in the world.

The A2A rendition promises faithful flight modelling alongside many of the features A2A customers will be familiar with from their previous products, including an immersive pre-flight 'walkaround' process, an authentic engine simulation model which responds to actual ambient conditions and usage and realistic gauge physics to provide a highly realistic cockpit environment.

    User Feedback

Just spent 1/2 a day flying this and once again they hit it out if the park. One small bug that I’m sure will be fixed soon, but otherwise worked great. The rain effect is awesome, as it streams over the windscreen and slows to drops as you slow. Fuel transfer works great, mixture works great, as expected. Thank you for another quality add on that will provide many hours of enjoyment!

I agree, a great product indeed.

I'm having trouble with keeping the ailerons steady in flight, maybe just me getting used to the V tail. Can you tell me what P3D controller settings you use?

    Thanks,

    John

Agree, A2A finally stepped it up with the P3D V4 version, from rain effects, to external lights ... love the beacon and how it's two beams light up the underside and ground, strobes and nav lights all utilizing Dynamic lights very well ... and finally the instrument is upto P3D spec with dimmers that don't expose compression artifacts but look very real.  Landing and Taxi lights that look real.

Performance is outstanding even with 750/650 active.

Dynamic reflections working also ... I must admit this is the first A2A aircraft I've bought and paid more for the P3D V4.x version that actually leverages the benefits of P3D V4.x platform.

Outstanding job, can't say enough good things about A2A's P3D V4.x version.

As always, the manuals are top notch and a good read on history of the aircraft.

Well done all around A2A, the P3D V4.x version is worth every penny, thank you!

    Cheers, Rob.

Nice modelling and excellent lighting effects. Track IR view from cockpit in 3D very accurate. Flight modelling is off and feels wobbly on take off and landing as the 172 did in its initial iteration. I am sure that with this issue fixed this simulation will be as good as the others. All which I have. I am a real world pilot and own a piper. Can tell the difference. Don

Same experience with me for some crosswind landings/takeoffs ... I couldn't find where I could disable the bungee system (Yoke/rudder coordinated interconnect setup in the Bonanza)?

But there again, it is called the "Doctor Killer".

    Cheers, Rob.

    Agreed 100 percent.

A2A are simply the PMDG of GAs.... possibly better.

They put other GA devs to utter shame... some of which are, quite frankly, embarrassing.

New lighting, windshield effects, the sim, maintenance, interface and configurability, friendly support, excellent manuals..... I could go on.

IMO .... Prices are way too low..... they could command twice the 32 quid I pay... and I would pay it.

    There... I said it.

If anyone has GoFlight modules and GIT, I’m about 65% done mapping every single knob, button, dial in their Bonanza.  Will upload files when done.

    Cheers, Rob
