    ATSimulations MH-1521 Broussard

    ATSimulations has released their MH-1521 Broussard

    The MH.1521 Broussard was designed to meet a requirement for a lightweight liaison and observation aircraft. It is a braced high-wing monoplane with twin vertical tail surfaces. It has a fixed tailwheel landing gear and is powered by a nose-mounted Pratt & Whitney R-985 radial piston engine.

     - Accurate exterior and virtual cockpit
     - Ultra-high resolution textures
     - Ten liveries in the base pack
     - Smooth gauges developed in 3d
     - Cockpit sounds

     - Engine overheating and engine fire simulated
     - Layered paint kit (available soon)


    System requirements:

    - FSX SP2 / Acceleration pack or FSX SE or P3D v3 (v4)
     - Available hard drive space: 1.5 GB (for one platform)
     - Video card: DirectX 10 compatible
     - Internet connection

    Well I just picked it up but can't get it to start.  I'm trying to see if I can contact them for support.

    The developer included a very useful cold and dark start-up walk-through on its Facebook page - it differs a little from the included checklist, but may give you some pointers...

    Well talk about a big fat duhhhh!!!  Don't forget to check the fuel tank quantities.  Shift +3 brings up the load manager and you have to add fuel.  She's a beauty and their technical support is superb.  Andrey from technical support provided excellent technical support and guided me through the process.  Definitely a nice little plane to fly!!  Don't push the engine too hard, you'll get an engine fire!  The only complaint I have is that the radial engine sounds on the exterior could be a bit louder and more throaty.  Other than that, I'm really enjoying this little plane for low and slow flying around Orbx PNW area.
