BluePrint Simulations is proud to announce the publication of a significant update for KJFK, New York - John F. Kennedy Intl airport scenery. KJFK v1.3 is available as a free upgrade for all BluePrint Simulations' KJFK scenery owners and it can be downloaded directly from blueprintsimulations.com. Upgrade restrictions apply (see below).
The v 1.3 update includes an entirely new model for JFK's Terminal 4 featuring increased 3D detail and enhanced texturing with transparency and reflection effects. The new model adds the recently opened Concourse B extension that now serves as Delta Airlines' international hub and features new ramp markings and illumination effects. KJFK v1.3 also reconfigures all taxiways near T4 and updates the AI traffic mapping files (AFCAD) to reflect the gate-usage changes. The FSX version includes a new, higher-quality set of replacement terrain textures with high- and low-resolution options.
Please be aware that the version 1.3 update also removes all jetways and service vehicles from the historic Terminal 3 which is now closed in real life. The new AFCAD files also reflect T3 changes.
KJFK v1.3 is available ONLY as a free upgrade to BluePrint Simulations' KJFK, New York - John F. Kennedy International Airport scenery v1.1. Ownership of the original release version (v1.1) for the corresponding flight simulator (FS2004 or FSX) is required. The original v1.1 scenery must be installed in the same computer and remain in its original location for the v1.3 update installer to execute. The KJFK v1.3.1 for FS2004 free upgrade installer will only upgrade KJFK v1.1.1 for FS2004 and the KJFK v1.3.2 for FSX free upgrade installer will only upgrade KJFK v1.1.2 for FSX.
NOTE: Download and installation of the v1.2 free upgrade before installing the v1.3 upgrade is strongly advised. The v1.2 upgrade is also available for download from our web site.
