FlyTampa's Corfu has been released for X-Plane 11.
Corfu is one of the most popular summer destinations in the Greek islands, famed for its short runway, dramatic terrain and challenging approaches.
The announcement last night marked the latest in a line of XP11 releases from major developers, suggesting that Laminar Research's simulation platform -- which has struggled to compete with the MSFS behemoth in the past -- could be starting to claw back ground on the ESP-based sims.
As well as a detailed rendition of the Ionnas Kapodistrias airport, FT have modelled the entire island of Corfu with custom mesh, hand-placed vegetation and 3D lighting. XP11 users will also benefit from sloped airport terrain. A full list of features can be found on the FlyTampa website.
