This web site update is in conjunction with the group's 22nd anniversary celebrations, delayed for more than a month due to COVID imposed staff restrictions.  This latest release is composed of more than 118 "NEW" and "UPGRADED" textures for the virtual B707, B720, B727, B737, BAC ONE-ELEVEN, C-135 SERIES, CV880, CV990, DC-8, DC-9, DC-10, L-1011 TRISTAR, MD-80, SE-210 CARAVELLE, and VC10 flight lines currently offered by HJG and both FS2004 and FSX.

I would guess none of these wonderful planes are compatible with P3DV4or5? Tempted at times to reinstall fsx.

    That's correct.

HJG is an FS2004 hangar ... with most of it offering also being FSX portable also.

Happy 22th birthday to HJG!!! Many many many thanks to Tony Madge, Dan Kjeldstrom Hansen, Michael Verlin, Jim Hornit Campisi, Eduardo Rocha, Eduardo Villanueva, Philip Foglar, and Paul Haak for their great painting contributions to HJG and its planes for past 22 years and many many many thanks to those same people mentioned above for honoring and accepting my repaint requests for past nine years.

Also, many thanks to Erick Cantu for inventing Tristars, 727s, and 737s used by HJG that gave everybody and me GREAT joy to fly those freeware addons past 20 years without paying payware prices.

looking forward to HJG having 25th anniversary in 5 years with hopes that all HJG model bases can work in new Microsoft MS2020!!!

    Regards,

    Aharon

I'm still using FSX since 2001-2002. But I most likely will upgrade to MSFS

Why would you want to do that? FSX doctored up with Orbx Base, NA, UTX for terrain, vector, and Urban textures, Buildings, and Trees looks very convincing to my own area. In fact, it looks better in FSX than it does in P3D 64 bit. I have FSX also and great flying. The old Tom Ruth 727 and DC-10 and Tristar work great and I modified them with the INS gauge available at HJG. Great old fashioned tube liner fun with my Bravo set up with 3 throttles.

    They also work with FS2002.

    That's "not" entirely correct.

Some HJG simulations may (possibly) still work in FS2002, but, others (be their panels/gauges/modules and/or textures) "most certainly won't".

Just to clarify these FS related compatibilities ....

HJG simulations are FS2004 "native" with most also now being FSX "portable" .... as per the following-linked list ....

In any case HJG "does not" now provide FS2002 support.

I was also recently informed "some of" (not all of) the HJG simulations may in fact be P3D "V3" (only .... definitely not V4 or later though) portable too, but, not yet having seen evidence of, or being able to properly assess this "for myself", I say such "WITH RESERVATION".

I got HJG Mercure and by swap 2 dlls it works perfectly in P3Dv4 (except landing lights that illuminate the cockpit at night)

And unlike other HJG aircraft, Mercure is payware level on system simulation and with full working VC! kinda bad it didn't get texture update this time.

    Mercure is payware level

Glad you're obviously enjoying the MERCURE 100 .... it is indeed very technically inclined simulation of a unique/rare airliner.

2 separate versions of it are offered .... one specifically for FS9 use only .... and the other for specifically FSX use only.

by swap 2 dlls it works perfectly in P3Dv4

P3DV4 portability (I won't say compatibility) is "a surprise" because AFAIK such was "unintended" .... so I reserve my commentary in regard to P3D and more-so since HJG can't provide P3D support.

    HJG Mercure

Important to credit this MERCURE 100 simulation to "Mario NORIEGA" .... and not HJG :)

HJG did assist Mario with some elements of this/his simulation (namely FDE, sound, and WX Radar), but, it's otherwise "entirely Mario's simulation" .... and which HJG hosts for him and by consent 😉

I don't want to bother the AVSIM Admin team with yet another HJG PR whilst this last one, from 3 months ago, is still conspicuous (no desire to monopolize the visable commmunity news space more than necessary) .... but for whatever it's worth HJG have, today, just released another 76X new textures for the B727, B737, BAC ONE-ELEVEN, BAe 146, DC-8, DC-9, DC-10, DH COMET, L-1011 TRISTAR, and MD-90 models it hosts ....

    "HJG 23RD ANNIVERSARY BIRTHDAY MEGA-RELEASE".

HJG (Historic Jetliners Group) has pleasure announcing a mega-release in celebration of its 23rd anniversary/birthday bash.

This's also HJG's first release for the 2023 year.

This latest release is composed of some 270 "NEW" and "UPGRADED" textures for the ARJ/BAe 146, B707, B717-200, B720, B727, B737, BAC ONE-ELEVEN, C-135 SERIES, CV990, DC-8, DC-9, DC-10, L-1011 TRISTAR, MD-80/90 virtual flight line currently offered by HJG and for both FS2004 and FSX.

If previous HJG's releases have previously earned a reputation for being reflective of both time and aviation history, then, this latest release must go down in group history as being "a particularly colourful league of nations" in respect of its geographic/regional aircraft representation .... featuring some of the greatest as well as least known among the worlds oldest/most classic and newest civil and military operators, supported by liveries ranging from the mid-1960's until to the present day .... among which a number of celebratory and historic hybrid, split identity, and even fictional retro liveries are also included .... along with "A WHOLE LOT MORE".

For further information concerning HJG's latest and 23rd anniversary birthday bash offerings please refer to the following-linked forum announcement ....

"HJG SPRING/MAY 2023 NEW & UPGRADED FILE RELEASES".

HJG (Historic Jetliners Group) has pleasure announcing another release composed of some 80"NEW" and "UPGRADED" files for the ARJ/BAe 146, B707, B717-200, B727, B737, BAC ONE-ELEVEN, CV990, DC-8, DC-9, DC-10, MD-80/90 virtual flight line offered by HJG and for both FS2004 and FSX.

    This's HJG's 2nd release for the 2023 year.

Textures subjects featured within this release relate to aircraft and operators from Africa, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, the Caribbean/Central America (both Honduras and Nicaragua), France (and Corsica), Indonesia, Japan, Spain, the UK and Ireland, and "the good old US-of-A" too .... covering the very early 1960's through present day period .... and among which both PAX, freight, developmental, and military/government VIP operators are represented .... and which also include upgrades of some 20X classic DC-8 liveries from the 1960's and 70's, an "extremely rare" flight-testing CV990-A from the early 1960's; Some "equally rare" US-operated and hybrid liveried DC-9-10's from the late 1960's; A WHAT IF" B727-200 ADV livery which "very nearly" came into RW existence during the late 1970's; A number of (possibly) almost forgotten US operated BAC ONE-ELEVEN's from the 1980's as well as a number of 1960's/70's/80's/and 90's era UK registered aircraft too (all reconditioned textures); Along with a B737-400C currently operated by a US federal security agency too.

And last but by no means least of all ....

The recently re-released HJG DC-8 project has now evolved into "V6.1" and "V6.2" 3D models .... in order to resolve a couple of reported and "EXTREMELY MINOR" animation related issues. All HJG supplied DC-8-10 through -43F 3D models are now "V6.2" offerings .... whilst all HJG supplied DC-8-51 through -73F 3D models remain "V6.1" offerings.

This particular reflection of both time and aviation history, for FS, and a whole lot more too is all "FREELY" available for download from HJG at the following website address ....

    This's HJG's 3rd release for the 2023 year.

Textures subjects featured within this release relate to aircraft and operators from Central America, China, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ireland, Lebanon, Malta, Macedonia, Mexico, Pakistan, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, along with "the good old US-of-A" too, and Zaire .... covering the mid 1960's through present day period .... and among which both PAX, freight, demonstrator, military, corporate VIP, and fire fighting tanker operators are each represented in both definitive period as well as hybrid liveries.

Upgraded files within this release relate the DMFS BAC ONE-ELEVEN, DH COMET, HS TRIDENT, and VC10 panels (hosted by HJG) .... each of which now feature George CARTY's "functional" WX Radar Set .... among all other fixes applied to these simulations by HJG (since 2021) in order to improve their performance and promote "proper FSX portability" whilst not departing from DM's own concept in regard to how he intended these panels to look and function.

This latest selection of offerings for FS2004 and FSX, along with a whole lot more too, is all currently and "FREELY" available for download from HJG at the following website address ....
