  • iFly 737NG High Definition Texture Pack P3D v4 Released

    Chuck_Jodry-VJPL

iFly and Flight One Software are proud to announce that the iFly 737NG High Definition Texture Pack for P3Dv4 has been released.  The free HD Texture Pack for Prepar3d version 4 includes texture improvements and additions to the P3Dv4 version of their award-winning iFly 737NG.  Here are the new features included in the package:

    • HD textures applied to VC.
    • HD textures applied to exterior of the aircraft
    • Ground Power Unit modeled (aircraft battery will charge when ground power is connected).
    • FWD OVHD panel font now models real world.
    • Option to Enable or Disable High Resolution Displays using the Configuration Tool.
    • Proper operation of the SPEEDBRAKE ARMED light and other minor fixes.
    • High definition Texture Paint-kit released.

The iFly Jets: The 737NG is a super sophisticated and complete 737NG addon for Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D. High accuracy simulation of the cockpit and systems, along with features such as ground support and push back, make this a premier expansion for P3D. The product has been tested by real NG pilots to help maintain the accuracy required for this simulation.

This product offers quite an extensive fleet covering the NG range. This includes the 737NG 600, 700, 700ER, 800, and 900, 900ER, plus the BBJ, BBJ2, and BBJ3. There are several variations among this fleet that you can customize via the configuration manager, including jet engine types, and wingtips.

You call that ‘HD’? LOL. How about calling it iSkiptoSomethingBetter? Please.

How about actually pointing out some concrete issues with it? That line seems little too throwaway to carry much credibility.

That’s it’s a long way shot of the competition. Everybody knows it who have used both.

Feel free to add specifics instead of handwaving generalisations then.

Any sign of those freeware links yet?

All of these just mean that the PMDG version is better, which nobody was disagreeing with anyway. Poorer than PMDG in some areas still doesn't justify the kind of hyperbolic nonsense you've been coming out with.

The Zibo is for X-Plane. Is it available now for FSX/P3Dv4?

Update: Pity it's X-Plane only, because in all fairness, it looks very impressive. From what I can see on YouTube anyway.

It’s not hyperbolic nonesence. Its just called the truth.

One is a genuinely great and realistic rendition of a 737NG. And one isn’t. Easy to know what both are.

Seriously if you don't have anything positive to say then why are you posting?  Do you enjoy getting posts locked because of your rude comments?  This is to talk about the ifly....not a place for you to bash the announcement or to talk about what you think is better and how this is no good.

Given that user's total number of posts, and the high percentage of which are not just critical, but downright insulting about iFly, the terms "grudge" and "sock puppet" have crossed my mind...
