Laminar Research will be a major sponsor of FlightSimExpo 2018 in Las Vegas, where the newest version of X-Plane 11 will be featured.

Laminar Research is happy to announce that we will be attending the upcoming FlightSimExpo as a major sponsor in Las Vegas.  The expo is scheduled for June 9 - 10 at the Flamingo Hotel.  Laminar will have a large booth where attendees can have a hands-on experience flying X-Plane 11 with a variety of virtual reality headsets, as well as various configurations.  In addition, many 3rd party X-Plane developers will be showing their X-Plane products.

FlightSimExpo connects simmers, developers, exhibitors, and real-world aviators from across the globe. Join us in Las Vegas on June 9-10, to meet others who share your passion, learn from experts, and try out simulators. This event is designed to bring flight simulation conferences to cities across the United States. The journey begins in 2018 in Las Vegas with easy international and domestic flight options, discounted hotel rooms, and plenty of activities before, during, and after the event for families and attendees of all ages. Created by simmers and developers, FlightSimExpo is the only community-created and driven flight simulation conference in North America.

FlightSimExpo is a both conference and trade-show that allows hobbyists and aviation enthusiasts to engage with industry professionals in a variety of settings. The event will run from 9:30am – 5:30pm on Saturday and 9:30am – 3:00pm on Sunday. There will be a social event for all attendees starting at 5:30pm on Saturday night.

This is great news.  I really hope they start to make a great impression on those that have not tried XP11.
