    RDShade for Prepar3D v4/v5 -- released

    RDPresets has released RDShade, a custom shader tweaking utility for both Prepar3D v4 and v5.  The utility allows on-the-fly customization of a wide range of shader settings to fine-tune P3D's lighting, color, etc to taste.  Available now at the RDPresets online store and other sim software outlets.

    Very nice tweaking utility but, unfortunately despite the fact that there are still 4 remaining downloads available on their server I'm not able to reactivate the software for the second time on a new computer, even so, I did uninstall the software from the old computer. No response from them.

    Buyer beware, after 3 days still no positive answer. Actually, quite the opposite of RDPresets, according to them " We have nobody else reporting activation issues ", while on their forum under "Feedback & Support" you can find since March 26 multiple complaints about this issue.
    Oh, No Refunds Policy!

    An update to this issue.
     
    Besides that this RDShade software is an excellent product, their way of doing business needs lots of improvement.
    Even though there are still customer issues related to activation (there is actually an update claiming that the issue has been resolved)  they keep on insisting that there are no complaints.
     
    I was told by them that actually even though you have available 4 downloads you can only activate 2 times, very odd!
     
    Anyhow, even though I provided proof of the order, ID, and e-mail, now they want the license number, which I left it out because I sought it would be more prudent to do so.
     
    It's not about the money, it's about the way they complicate all these problems and the unfortunate situation is that this software is quite excellent and from my point of view I don't want to be bothered with this nonsense especially when I provided proof of purchase.
     
    As an example, for P3D you have 4 downloads and 4 activations. If you exceed those numbers you just send a message with your ID and they will re-activate the software without any issues, not here.

    To do justice for this outstanding RDShade software, after so many days, finally, they did re-activate the software.
    I hope that they will improve this customer service, especially when their products are very good.

    REShade really has great features.

    I have high hopes that they would work on improving their customer service, particularly given the quality of their items.
