    TerraBuilder FSX Update

    Chuck_Jodry-VJPL

TerraBuilder has just released the update to TerraBuilder FSX with the new functionality: custom elevated mesh support . Now, you can createdesigndraw your own localized elevated mesh as grayscale bitmaps, save them into 16-bit RAW format and process them into FSX scenery.

Basically - it will let you read in PhotoShop-made 16-bit RAW files and make custom, local terrain mesh. This can become super handy for creating sloped runways, bumps, ditches, holes, terraces, causeways, mesas... or even mountains, if you prefer! You'll be able to insert these RAW files into TerraBuilder FSX just like BMP images, move, align, size and overlay them, and adjust all relevant parameters.

This functionality comes free with unregistered version, with a limitation of one image per project (which is usually adequate for even large scale projects since mesh elevation has a lot lower resolution than PhotoRealistic scenery).

The TerraBuilder FSX manual is also updated with the new functionality, so for more info, please download it here (http://www.terrabuilder.com/TBFSX/TBFSXManual.pdf). TerraBuilder FSX is available for download here (http://www.terrabuilder.com/TBFSX/TBFSX.zip).
