The Vertx DA62 Coming soon to Prepar3D v4

    Chuck_Jodry-VJPL

Vertx Flight , a new flight sim aircraft developer will soon be releasing their first product, the Diamond DA62 for Prepar3D  v4.

The Vertx DA62 G1000 PFD has been created using 3D gauge modelling techniques to deliver a PFD with unmatched clarity and animation smoothness.

The G1000 flight planner allows creation, saving and loading of flight plans, as well as compatibility with the built-in P3D flight planner. All of the G1000 autopilot modes have been realistically modelled, including enroute vertical navigation, LPV approaches with glideslope, pitch hold, enroute turn anticipation, course-wheel-steering, plus much more. Accurate Direct-to and OBS mode have been simulated.

The exterior and interior feature crystal clear 4K textures with night lighting and dimmable panel back-lighting.

An advanced flight model includes features such as a custom-coded stall and spin routine, custom-coded single engine flight modelling with realistic VMC behaviour, as well as advanced engine and electrical system modelling.

The virtual cockpit uses a wholly custom-coded sound engine providing many improvements over the standard P3D sound engine. Features include more realistic stereo panning and separation, high propeller angle-of-attack sound effects, and the pitch (or frequency) of the sounds are accurately tied to RPM rather than manifold pressure as is usually the case with piston powered aircraft in P3D. Also included are sounds for all switches and levers, G1000 annunciations, doors plus much more.

High framerates have been made a priority and so far our beta testers are reporting good results in that regard.

Vertx Flight anticipate a release within the next few weeks. Stay tuned for further updates!

First day purchase! Looking forward to this one. Bert Pieke has had nothing but good things to say about the beta version of this aircraft, so that's the only review that I need to see...

If Bert Pieke likes it then it's definitely worth having.

I'll be buying this one when it hits the shelf.

Where will this aircraft be sold at?

That logos is a little different on the website from what they have on these pictures.  I may be a different Vertx.

Might have to shoot them an email and see.

What a great new! Before arriving to the Sean's name, the pictures told to me that this wonderful plane had some relation with the RealAir classics. They have a special finishing look that I like very much. Me too, first day purchase! Thanks, Sean Moloney!

Well, it's not vertx.com, unless Sean is also selling clothes designed for conceal-carry handguns. 😉

I would buy this over Carenado any day. Just simply due to Carenados bad reputation of poorly functioning avionics and lack luster features, not to mention poor customer service.

Howdy all ---  this is a winner. Not only in appearance but the functionality of the G1000 is a major first.

Anyone know where to look for the introduction of the DA62 for purchase??? Any specific availability date???

    Thanks.

I don't know how they are using the URL vertx.com, when (like Bert mentioned) this is a website for gun clothing.

They must still be looking for a URL, but if you write to support@vertx.com, you'll probably find out a lot about $250 gun range backpacks.

Been looking at multiple sim-reporting sites. Not a peep anywhere. The beta testing may have found something that needed some tweaking. Anxiously waiting ----
