VATSIM ZKC to Attend 2013 FANCON

VATSIM ZKC has announced that it will provide real time ATC from the 2013 FANCON. The VATSIM ZKC controllers will be operating from the interior of the Kansas Aviation Museum's KC-135 Tanker in real time. Real time ATC will be provided on both Saturday and Sunday of the event. Times are set to be 10:00 A.M. to 5 P.M. Central time (-6 GMT) on both days. Tentative plans are to provide full coverage for KSTL (St. Louis), with controllers operating Kansas City Center; St. Louis Approach, Tower, Ground, and Delivery. On Sunday, ATC will be provided for KMCI (Kansas City), and controllers will be operating Kansas City Center; Kansas City Approach, Tower, Ground, and Delivery. Attendees to the FANCON will be able to board the KC-135 and view the VATSIM ZKC team in action. VATSIM members from around the world will be able to participate in the event as well during the operating hours of the event. If you have not yet signed up for the 2013, we suggest you do!
