    Tom Allensworth

Volair Sim announced today that they will be exhibiting at the 2013 FANCON. If you are not familiar with Volair, you might want to pay a visit with them at the FANCON. Volair Sim describes themselves as; "Volair Sim™ cockpit is a world-class universal flight and racing simulation chassis that is factory pre-configured for many of the most popular flight and racing simulation accessories from companies such as Logitech®, Saitek®, Thrustmaster®, and CH Products. The Volair Sim cockpit chassis is one of the most affordable yet most complete flight and racing sim chassis systems on the market. It is a perfect solution for all flight or racing simulator enthusiasts or anyone desiring to improve flying or racing skills."

Bart Waclawik, President of Volair had this to say about their attendance at the FANCON: "We will be bringing our fully set-up IFR-capable cockpit so hopefully a lot of fun for the participants. In addition, we have partnered with PilotEdge.net which will have a pilot fly our sim during FANCON connected to the PilotEdge.net network which, will provide real-time FAA-like ATC services (service designed for professional pilot training). So it will be a really realistic demo"

Here is a 25 minute video introducing the Volair Sim system being used with PilotEdge:
