An excellent review. I keep thinking that I should perhaps buy the Connie instead of waiting longer and buying a PMDG T7 or 744 (I will have them all one day!). Cheers!

Why that strange layout of the text ? It is very hard to read because of the massive size of the letters in a small window.

An excellent article on a truly great addon. The B-377 was fabulous as well and between these two if your a hard core piston head you will be in heaven.

There is an excellent addon called weatherships for trans-atlantic and pacific crossings for long range radio navigation.

    Well done AOA!!

+1 I quit reading it after having read the first two pages

Great review, which fully matches my experience so far! Another advanced and challenging product from A2A.

Regarding the layout: Finally a new style of presentation! Just center the window on your screen and then comfortably scroll through the whole document.

Comfortably ? I see 20 lines or so at once in a gigantic font. It is not usable.

I own the aircraft and would love to read the article but as its inside this embedded window or something its too difficult. I can see it fine, well just the first page with the Connie pic on it! My mouse wont scroll faster than 1 pixel a rotation over the article and there are no scroll arrows just bars so only way to make view move is to drag a tiny bar which therefore jumps all over the shop. Clicking in space below bar jumps multiple pages.

If I center the page in just the right spot I can use page up and down to jump whole pages, oh never mind cancel that it just jumped back down to my comment here!

I love the well-written articles they are often works of art unto themselves, Please could the author provide a download link for the pdf so I can read without having to devote a whole day to the mechanics of actually doing so? Plus also I dont have much hair left....

Look forward to reading it asap!

This is one of the best purchases ever; I fly essentially mil or civilian jets, but this one is a joy. Apart for remembering me of the beautiful Sinatra's album "Come fly with me" (I'm 71).

Review loads fine on my tablet. So as long as I'm in bed ready for sleep I can read these new formatted articles

I use Firefox and opera on my pcs.. Shouldn't be a platform issue IMO reading these classic write ups!

I could read the review OK in desktop view. In mobile version (on my phone) it was a total non starter. Avsim please note. Some new ideas simply don't work and should be tested on all platforms.

One problem with the review. The first half of it is background information. Some background is good, but this reads too much like an A2A promo. In fact I'm sure I've read a very similar interview with A2A elsewhere when the Connie first appeared.

I think the Connie is a great sim. It isn't true that the lack of a maintenance hangar means less depth, as stated in the review. You can't load different spark plugs or oil additives, but so what? It's still Accusim. I tend to visit the hangar, click fix everything, and go back to flying.

A2A really nailed this classic sim. The handling is perfectly set up. Controls are really well thought out making operating the four place cockpit a pleasure. Far nicer than the rather spartan feel of the 377 flightdeck. In flight it is simply gorgeous to look at and it flies as well as it looks. Just like the 377, which is no beauty.

I switched career mode off. I'm not interested in it at all, but no doubt many are. At least you have the choice to disable it, and doing so does not affect the realism.

I saw on some youtube reviews its almost impossible to trim, keeps wandering of.

    Confirm ?

And I dont mean this, since seems wrong:

Authentic flight stability: The Connie was known for being a little less stable in pitch than other aircraft, which requires a little more finesse and attention.
