    Highlights

This program starts off with a fitting presentation from the Chief Operating Officer of AeroMexico as he discusses history, fleet and rapid growth of the airline. To compliment this presentation, he also takes us onboard on of the airlines newest 787s for a tour of the product that AeroMexico offers its customers. After the presentation on the background of the airline was completed, we join our flight crew as they prepare for a round trip flight from Mexico City to New York City. At the dispatch office, the flight crew covers the weather, NOTAMs and other relevant information pertaining to the flight before heading to the aircraft. Interestingly, two captains will fly this flight since our captain in the left seat is new to the 787 and is being checked out by a training captain.

As the crew makes their way to the aircraft, viewers will have the opportunity to see how the FMS is setup while the cockpit is prepared for departure. During the flight to JFK there were many highlights which included presentation of the EFB (Electronic Flight Bag), cockpit Displays and a detailed cockpit presentation that is a must see for anyone who is a fan of the 787. As the aircraft made its way closer to JFK, the views from the cockpit while on approach were stunning to say the least and it was nicely complimented with a replay of the landing on runway 4L from two camera angles.

The return flight to Mexico City featured a presentation of the cabin service onboard the 787 and an array of amazing views from the cockpit while on approach over the densely populated Mexico City. After an uneventful landing, we take one more ride onboard the 787 for a 10 hour flight to Paris which was very scenic and insightful.

The final portion of this program centers on the operations of AeroMexico Connect and their E-190 flights to the destination of Huatulco. Some of the highlights of this flight included some very nice footage of the E-190 as it was taxying on the ground and a very insightful cockpit presentation while enroute to Huatulco. For our return flight back to Mexico City, there were other highlights, which included an exterior walkaround of the aircraft, deviating from bad weather and a step approach into Mexico City due to the high level of air traffic. Following the same pattern as our previous flights, the landings were replayed from various angles to give the best perspective to the viewers. Just Planes did a great job with this program and AeroMexico has certainly shown itself to be a progressive and intriguing airline. I certainly hope that AeroMexico and Just Planes will be release more entertaining programs in the future! – Highly Recommended!
