  1. Past hour
  2. @Damian Clark is this available for purchase directly?
  3. Maybe they just want to delay it long enough so they dont have time to do another one before the 2024 release?
  4. Head over to the JustFlight website folks. $24.99 Boom
  5. At least you don't have to pay for them but I purchased the Shrike F-86 a couple of weeks ago and I'm happy with it so far but for one thing, the absence the iconic "The Huff" livery. WHAT! Anyway, I email Shrike via their 'Drop us a line' link on their website asking if we are getting The Huff livery at some point to which the reply said you get it when you sign up for the Shrike Club News letter. WHAT! It made me wonder what else is missing? Anyway, I wanted the livery so I signed up and the browser loaded a page which read: "Your request has been received and information has been sent to you. Please check your email address!" Well, no email. Tried it again the next day. Still no email. Emailed them to inquire. No reply Tried to sign up again a week later. Still no email Emailed again to inquire and report the problem. Still no reply. Do you think they don't give a 💩? I guess I won't be purchasing that 530f after all!

  7. Hi all, A quick post about air effects. I just performed a quick flight with the latest build of ASFS in real-time 1300z from Venice to Lyon (LIPZ-LFLL) and the turbulence and CAT is amazingly realistic. I had a tail wind down to localizer capture and the PMDG 737 was doing a little dance; just like you would feel or see if you were in the real thing. People are going to love how the "air feels." With historical weather you will be able to experience what I did earlier today using passive mode. Once ASFS is synched to sim time using historical weather (don't forget to check the box) you'll be able to recreate any flight you have experienced in the last while. Rob
  8. Of course not. I thought the smilies showed my post was tongue in cheek.
  9. Nico, We know already that LGA has very good RT/PSXT results, could you please update the DB? Thank you in advance!
  10. Great question and will likely depend upon your router. Virtual Desktop is used to replace your Quest 3's built-in Airlink. Both Airlink and VD are wifi apps. So if you are going to use VD or any wifi connection (including Airlink) then you of course would not also be using a cable. BUT... whether or not you'll find success on wifi is totally dependent upon the wifi router in your home and whether or not it's fast enough. I use a wifi 6 router that I have dedicated for use only for my VR stuff. if you do not have a wifi 6 router I have doubts that wifi will work well enough for you tbh. *PS - if you use a wifi 6 ruoter you'll want to be sure and set it up with an SSID which utilizes the router's special wide frequency band (6ghtz frequency band which offers up to 1200 mhtz bandwidth). Then you connect (or Pair) the Quest3's Wifi to that SSID on your router. Once that's done you won't have to do it again.
  11. Hello, I'm wondering if there is a way to specify an altitude restriction for a user point and have the flightplan elevation profile respect it? I'm using LNM with NeoFly where I have to fly to some LAT/LONG coordinates and would like LNM give me a TOD to that user point based on elevation entered. This would also be useful for regular flightplan waypoints in some scenarios. The TOD calculations can be pretty accurate once the airplane profile has been finetuned and it would help a lot in these cases.
  12. I have been a very long time user (since early FS2004 if memory serves but might have even been FS2000 or FS98) of Active Sky and have always been very impressed with the product and support from HiFi SImulations. I will be purchasing this version for MSFS as close to day one as possible for no other reason then to support the developers. I have no doubt that when HiFi gets more access to the internal workings of FS2020/2024 they will put out an absolutely fantastic weather generating program as they have always done. I think its even likely this new version of Active Sky will push the limits of what we have seen already. A lot of new people in this hobby since FS2020 came out and I don't think they understand the importance of developers like HiFi are to the hobby. Sometimes you gotta through them a bone every once in a while so they can continue to develop the product.
  13. Quite right, that's why I put the smilies in 😄
  14. KDTW (as well as KIAH, KMIA, ESSA, ENGM, LFPG) is one of the RT "bad guys", as ground traffic (both incoming and outgoing) is absent here (FR24 has it for all above-mentioned airports, but Balthasar is using different data streams for RT). Whether it will be fixed or not fixed at all - only God (and Balthasar) knows.
  15. Hello, I'm looking for a tool that creates a kml-file showing all airports that a) got a custom treatment from Asobo, and b) I installed myself - so all the good ones basically. Lorby-SI's Add-On Organizer does that for P3D, and since I can't find the MSFS-version anywhere to download, I'm looking for an alternative, payware or freeware.
  16. Thanks for the explanation! First time I've seen anything like this. How do I activate the deviation scales?
  17. Hi Nico - First off, I am nearing the end of my PSXT trial and will definitely be buying the RT sub! I had a question about departing traffic. I have noticed at some airports (most recently at Ini KDTW) that I do not see any live traffic leaving the gates and taxiing to the runway. I do see landing traffic and I also see traffic appear as they lift off the runway on takeoff. What causes this behavior and is there anything I should do to remedy? I use the Auto Range and Max live is set to 50. Thanks much!!
  18. @hangar @Donka @zorro747 Thank you all for the recommendation! Highly valuable for me. Silly question: Will I need to use a Link cable with a Virtual Desktop?
  19. Heading to LaGuardia today to see MK Studios' latest airport if you want to take a live look.
  20. Just Noticed the Link Trainer in your sig, my first sim also
  21. Are you on 125.0.1? Another glitch just now replying to you. If you go into Tools - Settings I see a message at the top that says "Your browser is being managed by your organisation". Huh? I'm a private user. Should I be concerned? LATER: It's okay... https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1369981
