    I could Never get P3D tried using Multiple credit cards to purchase over 5 years and they never worked. emailed support emailed support numerous times regarding this and never got a reply. I know it happened also to others so not everyone had access to P3D

    This is something I have noted as well. All through the flight phases the turbulence effects are very well implemented

    Turbulence effects are GREAT. Much better than RealTurb. The aircraft is slightly shaking on cruise, like a boat, very smooth and credible. Have not ever seen this kind of turbulence in MSFS (with or without RealTurb). AS is worth it alone for those effects, no matter if you want the actual weather depiction or not.

    No, that's all you have to do. Make sure the following: In the WX Control panel in the app, there's a button "Sim Depiction Mode" up at the top - make sure "Active Sky Preset Control" is checked. If that is - check out this thread, someone else had your problem: https://forums.hifisimtech.com/threads/toolbar-mods.14820/ That said, i use the notoolbarhandle mod too and AS works just fine.

    All I want is AS to be my live weather app, I have live weather choosen in AS menu, Am I suppose to turn on something else? When FS is loaded and on< I see the sim connected is on in AS.

    I'm sure BATC will do the same, the intergration is extremely easy. Just read a file AS automatically creates and feed it into the app instead of the NOAA data.

    The change to flight model in my view are only a slight improvement. Still lots of sideways flying and nearly full rudder deflection needed in turns. Now flies like a c17. I am just not understanding what is going on that after two months we are still here. It’s otherwise such a great aircraft but how do they not know how to make a decent flight model??? I flew the carenado as comparison and while I know they are vastly difftproducts, the flight model is much more convincing(!!!!!!!) and THAT is saying something. After all this wait, I was expecting something that doesn’t feel so ridiculous to fly. I don’t have pc12 experience but I am a real pilot. Back in the hangar for me. Really love everything else about the product but with this flight model I just don’t believe it (different than can I fly it / stomp on rudder to control it and constantly battle ridiculous yaw).

    You can just as easily (actually more easily, because you just type the ICAO in) look up METARs in the AS app. I don't find the MSFS toolbar better / more immersive in that regards, it's a big blue thing on your screen. Also the ATIS should be correct in MSFS, because that comes from the actual weather.

    Also bear in mind EJSP's video didn't touch on any of the turbulence / wake settings and effects which you can use with the default rendering if you so wish. You don't have to use the weather presets and can use default weather in conjunction with AS refinements to the air itself. I'm finding it a decent add-on so far FWIW.

    I have Windows 11, the Steam version of MSFS, and the "unable to sync" error. I don't understand any of the solutions presented in this thread. After getting the error when closing MSFS, I open to MSFS in my Steam Library and under cloud status it shows "Unable to sync. Click to try again." When I click, the only choice I get is to try again. Upon clicking that, the sync fails again. Am I not going to the right place for the fix to this error.

    Thank you Ray. Does anyone know of a tool that would produce a spreadsheet of the flights in a traffic file? I'm aware that AI Companion shows a tabular view of the flights, but I would like to manipulate the data on a spreadsheet and AI Companion does not export the data.

    There's a comparison video from Easyjetsimpilot that went up about 2 hours ago. I didn't get to the end, but the initial 4 or 5 airports he looked at comparing live you tube feeds from those airports, to Active Sky & MSFS Live weather - he preferred the MSFS Live renditions. I don't know his AS settings & wonder if they were changed if that would make AS more favorable to him?? T45

    For those updating and using AI traffic other then default make sure to disable the default traffic file...

    @Damian Clark, I just restarted utilities manually and came into life.....So i guess you should take a look at that why is not starting with SIm..... Thanks

    Hi Bob , the inbuild MSFS METAR function now shows "no stations" on my end. Guess AS is in control so it would be nice to look up METAR AS as we did with P3D, FSX from menu. Again i havent read the manual so it might be me Michael Moe

    Yes - I had uploaded the latest version of FSUIPC7 from scratch as part of my attempted fixes and also checked the option to start MSFS and have been starting MSFS with FSUIPC7 as you suggest. Bit of a breakthrough in the last try - I realized that it had unchecked the 'Connect to MSFS' and so it was confirming that the sim was available but, of course, was not actually connected. This doesn't explain why it stopped working in the first place as all those settings were correctly set back then. But the good news is that I've finally got Pilot2ATC to connect properly and read me the ATIS again. The bad news is that I then couldn't get Pilot2ATC to recognize my voice! I'll try again in the morning when my voice doesn't sound so tired and frustrated! 🙂

    I thought it will...but....I downloaded new Flow.....When I opened next time AS it prompted me to download update, I did, Launched everything again and message is showing "Waiting for simulator" and SIM is of course running.....Anyway, clearly, as much as I enjoyed AS in P3D for all this years, this one does not work in my system and have no idea what it is. If you have any idea where the problem is now let me know...... Thanks for your help
