  1. Past hour
  2. Yea, wish it worked without requiring SteamVR though. SteamVR kills my msfs...Currently I must use VDXR and the OpenXR Toolkit to run msfs well enough in VR with my older machine here. Works pretty nice, much better than in years passed...so I'm not willing to go back to Steam's XR.
  3. Watch the video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=McYhsOw21Zw If you just want simple approaches to repeat, FSiPanel standard is plenty. IIRC, the failure triggers in Advanced are more detailed than the ones available to use in the Fenix MCDU.
  4. Thank's a lot PM, glad you like it! 🙂 Thank you very much Bernd! 🙂 The chopper has a service ceiling of 21.000 feet and the basecamp is a little less than 18.000, so it works. Of course it must be watched that there is not too much power left up there.
  5. As I mentioned I've decided not to buy it. For me it really boils down to personal preference. And the fact that I'm trying hard to refrain myself from buying every single new aircraft. When I want something a bit more complex (GA), I use the King Air. For a bit more simplicity, I'll go with the TBM850. Both are excellent in their own ways. As for airliners, I use the A300 when I feel like the added challenge. Or try a very challenging approach in the Fenix 🙂
  6. Great shots from a lot of desert there and a very nice fighter oldtimer, F104 starfighter isn't it? Looks good...
  7. After update Navigraph login not working on Longitude.
  8. Your example is a VFR flight, not an IFR flight needing a flight plan. Just take off VFR without a flight plan, shoot the approach and call Tower for landing clearance.
  9. I'm installing AIG models right now. I'm hoping for better performance over FSLTL.
  10. Couldnt you have mentioned the iniBuilds A320 a few more times?🤣
  11. Good idea to do the flight from KORD to Lake Geneva, just did it earlier, it's a very nice country all around. Very nice shots!
  12. Apparently they're having another one now (calling it their "Spring sale") running until 11 April. I'm tempted to grab the UK North, Central, and South bundle but I'll need to do some research to see if it's worth buying first.
  13. Not the same. It doesn't talk to AI let alone control AI traffic.
  14. Thank you PM! 🙂 Thank's a lot PM_7878, there are more nice places from all the freeware, I just started exploring, they did a lot.
  15. I doesn't seem like any of those fixes had anything to do with Vnav and Lnav performance unless I'm missing something
  16. I'm on the Store version so not entirely sure where your exe resides in Steam, if you can find the "content" folder (inside the Microsoft Flight Simulator folder) the gamelaunchhelper.exe is under the "FlightSimulator.exe, so when reshade asks you to select a game or application select gamelaunchhelper.exe
  17. Thanks for the advice… will try it as soon as I will be back in front if my Sim PC, that is after Easter…☹️ I am not on Beta either..
  18. Not sure exactly what you mean, but when I first open the installer it asks me to select a game or application and I select FlightSimulator.exe, and it show the correct path to the game in the box below. Also, I do make sure to run the installer as an administrator as well.
  19. Might want to read through this and see if any info helps.
  20. another option: The holy grail is DSR 2.25 and DLSS 3.6 set your resolution, to the highest it will go in the sim and set DLSS to Performance, Direct X 11, and max everything out in the sim and enjoy. No Frame generation TLOD mods or tweaking necessary. You still get microstutters which at this point I don't think you can get rid of until the next update when Asobo fixes the memory issues in the sim, but any DLSS blurriness or ghosting is gone and you will have incredible FPS. I am running my sim with 8K+ resolution everything maxed out in the sim and getting 60+ FPS using a 3080ti on a i7 12th gen CPU. The key is DSR post processes on the CPU and DLSS Post processes on the GPU which spreads out the workload between the CPU and GPU and your computer runs cooler and more efficiently. I am not on the BETA
  21. When you installed Reshade did you link it to the exe file? If your version of MSFS has the exe hidden and unavailable link it to the gamelaunchhelper.exe. That's all I use now and it works perfectly. Also, use the installer it's much quicker and safer. EDIT: I forgot to add when linked to the gamelaunchhelper.exe updates weather normal or beta do "not" affect the Reshade installation.
  22. I don't know. Nothing in the upgraded version appeals to me so I have never kept my eye on upgrade price sales. I mostly use it when my flight session is short, or I am readjusting to an aircraft. It takes about 5 min or so for each setup. Usually I get the aircraft into the Ready state via the EFB, and setup the approach. Once it's loaded I double-check the ILS info was input correctly. I don't usually reset the sim between approaches at the same airport. So, after I land I tell FSI to reset it up and a little over 5 min I am back in the air.
  23. 🤣 Although I'm sure it'll get much better in no time, it's Inibuilds afterall. Love their A300.
