  1. Past hour
  2. Hi, I own both and is there a way to toggle between PMS and TDS? Maybe using AddonsLinker?
  3. You arguing with a non pilot and being a (supposed REAL on) is more funny but carry on. No more to add to this thread. bu bye.
  4. This thread 😂.. back on topic. I’ve been away for a little bit, haven’t seen much on PMDG’s end anywhere. Still pretty quiet since the last few weeks from them?
  5. Oh no you are confused! It's you who actually arguing with Stermandriver . The funny part come what it actually makes you LOL
  6. You have a CPL and arguing with a gamer that is the funny part > LMAO> Edit I know how to believe and not to believe on these forums.
  7. Great ! Notarize paper with witness that you will give us $$$$$$ upon presenting you our current ATP, commercial of CFI certificate! Thank you for your business. LOL
  8. A Scandinavian Commute, an hour's plus trip between Copenhagen and Stockholm. Hopefully, you enjoyed these images, your commentary is greatly appreciated...Darryl
  9. Today
  10. 120Hz, native 30fps x 2 = 60fpsFG, RTSS front edge sync, G-Sync I had it at 100 which I think is default then moved it to 200 a good while back as I thought it made image quality sharper and never gave it a 2nd thought. I tried it on and off a couple of times in a couple of scenarios today and clearly 200 make these artifacts worsen. Maybe 100 is okay I will check. I just restarted MSFS and did a quick acid test at KDEN aiming east shortly after sunrise in clear skies in the PMDG 738 and see if it's still good: pretty good flicker out the side but better than w/ AMD FidelityFX at 200! That type of lighting brings it out the most but easy enough to make anything else active and the flicker disappears. For example I can click on my 2nd screen, or any app that can steal the show in front of MSFS will stop the flicker and it's softened enough to where only the worst lighting brings it out, and the glass cockpit and FMC are solid now. It is very nice to put the base rate all the way down to 30 this really gives some headroom and it shows in terms of freedom from even rare stutters. And CPU temps stays nice as well. Cheers
  11. Stop being an internet forum jerk. These personal attacks are just a waste of time for everyone else. Comment on the subject of the thread or just don't comment.
  12. That's an odd problem to have, but I'm afraid you're doomed to continue to suffer then.
  13. Why do I care because I care you are the pilot and I am end the passenger and depend on your flying experience to get me to point A to Be that is why I care. But you never told Avsim who you are. That's my problem.
  14. Haha - I was hoping for 42kts but arrived a bit too late! I tend to test everything to the limits, including my own capabilities 😜 In the previous flight I actually committed virtual suicide in the Aleutian Islands in the Turbo Arrow as I got lost in IMC low vis in icing conditions and lost visual contact with the airport. The only available navaid was an NBD station, but I didn’t get a signal… so I was flying around aimlessly in the fog with ice building up on the windshield… I’ll keep the screenshot limit in mind.
  15. I don't understand your point here... I work for neither Boeing nor Airbus, and never claimed to? As it was my airline that experienced the door plug failure, I've followed the situation... But I know very little that isn't already public knowledge. The NTSB discussed the commonality of this part in one of their daily briefings during week one. It's easy enough to see the existence of *A* door plug on these other aircraft just by looking at them; an operable door will always have an external handle; the plugs do not. But yes, it was confirmed in week one that the plug fastening system is exactly the same in these other aircraft. Why would someone need to be an engineer, or work for a manufacturer, to know this? Why would it surprise you that someone knows this about airplanes they fly? And really, why do you care?
  16. So you work for Boeing and Airbus at the same time show the people your expreirnces'. Show us your fly experience. Make a Youtube video Post on Avsin and waste time from rwf to post to and post rwf and showboating It's on AVsim. hard to believe. well not really
  17. Well all right... As your "belief" has exactly zero impact on my life, I'll, uh... Try to cope with it, I guess. 😁 Obviously, in the information age, it's not hard to find this stuff out though. Here's just one article specifying the existence of the same plug on -900ERs and -321s. https://simpleflying.com/aircraft-door-plugs-guide/
  18. Really nice stuff guys. One caution on screenshots though, a few in a post are fine but if you are going to post a bunch of them, put then in the screenshot forum and link in post. We have a lot of users who access from mobile devices and scrolling through 6 or 7 screenshots can be tedious. Pllease keep posting the videos and screenshots, they are really informative. And Capt_Piett - a 36kt crosswind in a TBM 900? Are you suicidal? Max cw component is 20kts , it's possible that tutb was justified. 🙂
  19. Bottom line I have no clue you are a real pilot ((737) or a engineer what you do on Avsim. Not good to believe on the internet. RWP usually don't hang on internet forums.
  20. I'm not sure you need to be an engineer to recognize that empty holes where fasteners should be just *might* be the reason a component separates? But as a pilot, sure, I know when a component is used across multiple aircraft types that I fly, and even some I don't. That exact plug door, with the exact fastening system, is on thousands of NGs and other Boeings, as well as many Airbuses. 🤷‍♂️
  21. Flick1 - thank you for the suggestion. I ended up picking up the Just Flight models and am using them now for the CRJ’s instead of the AIG models. Just as you indicated, these models are performing better with proper ground contact both parked and when live.
