    3 great sets of KLGA Andy, looks all very good. I always wanted a nice KLGA for P3d together with the old Manhattan scenery but nobody did it. This is of course influenced by all the interiour modelling as well, it's a lot of extra data.

    Well tested it in compatibility mode and the performance tanked terribly, so that old solution is out. Not terribly surprising given that V5 is recommended for windows 10 minimum. Jon.

    Oh...is that the FSX Trike...🙂...cannot get any more nostalgic...~20 years have passed since I flew that thing for the first time... Thanks very much for posting about Bar Harbor....I'd done one unforgettable driving trip (a very long one from Columbus, Ohio), many moons ago, to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, and had also explored it in MSFS and posted about it...always wish to visit that place (in RW) one more time...wonderfully scenic with lakes and mountains... Nice pictures, here, from good old FSX...!

    What I meant was, Asobo's calendar used to say they would be releasing SU16 *before* the MSFS2024 release. And if it didn't have that in the calendar, I must be mis-remembering it. So now, sure, it would make sense if they intend to release SU16 /after/ the MSFS2024 release.

    Hmmm, well someone needs to tell Azure Poly that because their Transall C-160 can do aerobatics with both the paradoor and the ramp open, no problem! (See the vid earlier in the thread). But then CS are only using a generic MS flight model so maybe that's where CS has the problem. Cheers Terry

    Very good shots P_7878! 🙂 I've installed some freeware addons for the islands but have to go there again and have a look. So far I used it to test a heli and it looks nice there.

    I am getting lots of scenery errors ( like grass where there should be a runway ,or odd scenery elevations, or just missing ) a good example is at kagc. it is a mess in my sim I tried to repair the scenery using the repair tool (my scenery is all stock ) no 3rd party addons i have many examples of messy incorrect airports in this version How do i correct this Peter

It had actually skipped my mind, when I added that "nod" to the squirrel...🙂... that your avatar stands for the "frolicky" mammal...Actually, it was a squirrel that chased that (colorful) bird away from the tree ...nonetheless love to see them around as long as they stay away from my vegetable patch, which, of course, they don't...🙂...     As much as they've deserved blame for... Well... Lots of things over the last few years, I suspect this isn't their fault. There's a bug in MSFS that makes the plane break up if you open a window while it's flying. And I don't mean open the MD80's window at 250kts, I mean open the side window in a prop job that's tooling along at 60. Boom, plane overstresses.

    Hi guys, since i actived the nvidia frame gen i experienced some bugs when i land after a long haul flight like LEMD-KMIA or LEMD-MDSD for example, the screen turns like flickering and the sim is still running and also the a/c , i don´t know if is my graphic card or the addon. Im using nvidia frame gen with taa and my pc specs: AMD 7 5800X , RTX Gygabite 3060 (12gb vram) , 16 RAM (2666mhz) , samsung evo 1tb , thanks guys !

    Glad to hear this good news. Looking forward to any and all improvements in weather capability. Finally, historical weather! I wonder what changed to make this a priority now after all this time being apparently ignored, and why it's mentioned now and not earlier, or maybe this was a last minute add? Regardless, it's great news for all MSFS users. Still hoping that they will consider allowing developers proper write access to weather, and continue allowing us and other developers of toolbar-based add-ons to use their UI SDK in the WX SDK's absence. It would be great to expand on and create new features outside the scope of MSFS2024's intended ones.

    This post is triggered, by a member suggestion, on my Channel Islands (Aurigny Air) post, to also explore the (charming) Isles of Scilly, just about 40 miles (south and west) of (England's) Land's End. It's to be noted that Lizard Point maybe the most southerly point in mainland Great Britain, but it's St Agnes Island of the Isles of Scilly (which we're visiting today) is the southernmost part of England and the entire United Kingdom, edging out Lizard's Point by barely about 4 miles of oceanic water, further southward. Isles of Scilly, the geography of which I've now a fairly good idea, thanks to the member suggestion, has 5 main islands (see my (superposed) VFR MAP in the on-ground image (shot #1) below, sorry, no nice G1000/G3000 MFD Map here, because I'm flying the DC-3...🙂...). Out of the 5 main (inhabited) islands, St Agnes is the southernmost on my MAP, and St Mary's (EGHE) is the one with a long enough runway (~2,000 ft). I could barely lift off with my (cumbersome) DC-3 from that runway...so please be aware that this is done by a (non)-professional pilot in a closed (home)-course and is not recommended for RW scenario...🙂...I have then travelled clockwise in a circle overflying the 5 main islands seen on my VFR MAP. In the Isle of Scilly, there are very few cars...the few belong to the residents. So, intra-island, one uses Bikes, and Electric Bikes (my choice in Guernsey Island...🙂...), and inter-island, one uses ferry, helicopters, or DHC-6s and BN-2s. From my visit here, what struck me most, are these "islets" (tiny "usually unnamed" pieces of uninhabitable land; see my images) defiantly sticking above the oceanic waters, strewn all around this area (there are 140 such islets in the Isles of Scilly). In fact, Isles of Scilly was once, ~12,000 years ago, part of the mainland England but got detached and then engulfed by the Ocean, which fact is quite evident by occurrence of these trace "islets" that I would observe (later) on my path while heading towards the mainland (Land's End) ...that trip to be in my Part II Post. Please find 20 images below where I've (thoroughly) explored, from above, the unique moods and the splendid beauty of the Isles of Scilly...so near the mainland, yet they seem so pristinely isolated in the endless waters of the Celtic Sea and the wider Atlantic Ocean. Scilly islands (together) may be just one-fourth the area of Guernsey (island) of my previous post, but these islands are equally beautiful and even more interesting in their (cumulative) topographical appeal... Hope you enjoy this collection of pictures from my tour...! [Note: I had actually wished to fly the British Caledonian (BCal) DC-3 for this post, but instead preferred to use a DC-3 equipped with GPS/Autopilot (to reduce pilot workload...🙂...of this intensive tour), so, I've opted for British United Airways (BUA). Coincidentally, I learned later that BUA, that operated for only 10 years between 1960-1970, would be later bought out by Caledonian Airways to eventually form British Caledonian (BCal)... (I'm fond of these airlines affectionately known as the "Callys".... maybe because of that (Scottish) Rampant Lion logo...complete with protruding tongue and extended claws...🙂...none on this BUA livery though...still, if you ask me, the (blue-nosed and cheat-lined) BUA DC-3 looks good here...) ...] Please expect to see the images of my concluding portion of the trip from the Isles of Scilly to the Mainland...in my next post...
