    Anyone able to register for the HiFi forms with a Gmail account? I tried on Sunday, never got the verification email and that was after requesting it be sent twice. Sent a PM to Damian here but don't think he's been back since, nothing in my spam obviously. Wanna post some ideas for features, thanks.

    I tried FS HUD for the first time this weekend and apart from the rather torturous install (needed to install run times and do stuff in powershell to make it start) I actually really like how it works. The voices aren’t bad at all and it’s very easy to use. The only drawbacks for me were it absolutely hammered my frame rate even at small airports, although I’m used to running with minimal AI due to my rig being quite outdated these days. Hopefully my 7800X3D/4080 Super combo arriving next week will solve that. Secondly and most disappointing was the vectoring to final was hopeless. Not just poor, but on both flights literally I had vectors from downwind that put me 150 degrees off the localiser course. As I’ve read that one of the strengths of this program is very realistic vectoring, it’s a bit of a bummer.

    I probably will pick up the 8. Who am I kidding of course I will. But I'll be flying the JF Tomahawk mostly over the next week or two. I'd love to paint it. I just checked. Adobe Substance Painter is expensive! Wow! $50 a month?

    I was not too bothered with this actually. After starting the sim I always have to Alt-Enter anyway to be able to start AIG traffic injection. Now, if it is fixed, I have to do it twice instead of once!🤣

    Yes, you are correct, there was definitely something about United that flashed on one of the web pages in the milliseconds before this all unfolded. I have since removed NordStar from my installed liveries to be sure I don’t run across this one again in the future.

    UTT's website has been hosted in the Ukraine, since the start of the war there have been regular downtimes. The last downtime sadly has been there for more than a year now. We have keept the URLs to the website in our database in the hopes that the site will return one day.... Seems now the site has gone for goods - might be even taken over by some hostile actions. We are in the process of removing all links to the website from our flightplans and database. Till this is completet we advice to disable manual downloads in AIM. The downsite of the DB removal is that all SimObjects that required the UTT website will be marked as invalid and be removed from the system (should only effeft P3D)

    I got to the bottom of my F-86 wows. It was in fact in my liveries the whole time but I was blind sided by it being called 897 and not The Huff and the livery thumbs show the opposite side of the fuselage the dragon is on. I'm definitely getting old! All in all, I'll take my cranky disposition about the Shrike Sabre back. It's great and I'd highly recommend it. I'll be dropping the dough for the 530f after all! 🤣

    I'm a real life RV8 owner, and a tester on the SWS RV8. These guys have done a stellar job. It flies and feels just like a real RV8. If you're a fan of RVs it's one you won't want to miss.

    Good idea - they'll bew able to look at the logs and have some ideas. Double check your AV. I've been having an issue in that I was getting no turbulence. Finally realized I had not excluded AS from my AV (Eset). Made the exclusion and got bounced all over the place in a TS. Usually the AV will block AS from connecting with MS, I was totally unaware it could affect it partially. Hopefully they will help you sort out your problem - thanx for your patience - I know you'll love AS.
