Update on the keyboard lag problem: solved the problem stopping to use the wireless keyboard and mouse, now I'm using a wired mouse and a mechanical keyboard and all it works as it should: no more lags and perfect response. Generally the mechanical wired keyboards are more expensive, I bought a Logitech G413 SE, it's white backlighted, useful for night flights. It's a right compromise because FS20 does not require extremely specialized gamer keyboards.

MK Studios' KLGA, the airport and its surrounds -2
andy1252 replied to andy1252's topic in The AVSIM Screen Shots Forum
Hi pmplayer, and I just looked at your sig. Are you really running 3 x 4k screens off an 8g 2080? I'm surprised that amount of vram can cope at all with all those pixels. I haven't done the math, it just seems way small for that. I'm running a single 4k on a 3090 with 24gb and I have had a few occasions where I've been using up around 21-22gb of that. Not here at KLGA but on various other occasions. -
Exactly my point. They said it was coming at some point, but withheld more details as recent as April 2022: [08APR22] PMDG 737 for MSFS Developer Update - Entering the Home Stretch - PMDG Simulations "The initial release phase is focused on the Next Generation series and we are not yet publishing any information about MAX." In November 2023 the plan was still "to drop it ouf nowhere", Robert's exact words: JT welcomes PMDG and The Pilot Club (youtube.com) Only recently, and probably in response to the iFly previews, did PMDG say it was coming in between the 777 release cycle.

ErichB replied to BWBriscoe's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
No idea what possessed Feelthere to even attempt LPPT when MK Studios already has an excellent version out there. Feelthere is sub-par -

Have a read of this thread: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/what-solved-c0000005-for-me/638990 Only 7 posts in that thread and some good observations about RAM and XMP. If none of that works, perhaps you're right and a change of RAM to a different brand and/or die may work for you. - Today

Simworks Studios Updated PC-12 Today 4-18-2024
pinepix62 replied to jwhak's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Figured out how to map the condition lever. Feels way to heavy and slow to respond to control inputs. Would like to replicate some Tradewind PC-12 landings posted on youtube at Saint Barts but at the moment it is pure luck if I get the PC-12 on the runway on a runway 10 approach. Hoping for some further improvements... -
LPPT: MK-STUDIOS or FeelThere
sdirand replied to BWBriscoe's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
MK Studios is working on a 2.00 version that should be available later this year and that will be on par in quality with their latest releases. Better wait for it, If you really want a LPPT add-on now, you can buy the MK-Studios 1.00, you will receive a discount for the 2.00 once available. -
Hi Luis, Not sure about P3D, but see post above from @andy1252 yesterday, where he said: Terry, I dug out my old FSX version of this and loaded up the sounds and it does indeed work ok with them. See - https://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php/135009-Hercules-fans-you-ain-t-gonna-believe-this?p=1334064&viewfull=1 Cheers Terry

After following the suggestion to recompile the .inf file, I tried many flights and so far I have not had any freezes. I hope it continues like this, in the meantime, I have already started the procedures to erect a statue in your honor...

FSHud Performance Latest Beta Build
tup61 replied to threexgreen's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Installed the complete AIG package and have no time left to fly LOL but at least I got ot for my next flight this evening. 😉 The ONLY bad thing I can say about FSHud is the approach vectoring... and I am not even talking about FSHud vectoring me (because so far it didn't, it had my flying the STAR and approach) but about FSHud vectoring the AI. During my last flight I only had about 3 or 4 active planes (didn't have AIG fully installed yet) but boy, I really got CRAZY of the CONSTANT vectoring of the AI... I heard the same callsigns being spoken 'a hundred times' in a row. It just didn't stop! And not only ATC's call but also the pilot's reply! That was really bad. Good thing is you can lower the volume of the AI comms LOL and make it more a sort of background chatter in de distance... But well, other than that: FSHud actually WORKS and is reliable so I love it! -
This is getting insanely realistic!
jcomm replied to GoranM's topic in The X-Plane General Discussions Forum
Now they just have to make the city and aircraft lights illuminate the clouds at night... Other than than that, heck, even if I am playing more of that GTA flightsim these days because of the looks, XP feels insanely realistic compared to it in so many FLIGHT simulation aspects... and it still has a lot of margin for expansion and getting better, if Austin want's it to... day/dusk/night/dawn transirions regarding lighting and sky colours are another area whre XP shines. I used to be very critic about it not having the correct lighting intensity at some places and dates, but it is now spot on, unlike MSFS 2020, at least at the latitudes I can observe IRL... -
Come see the highlights of the history of the Boeing 747, no longer being made but still flying (albeit in reducing numbers). I really loved researching & making this video. 1. The 747 2. 747 Types 3. People with 747s 4. 747 Disasters 5. 747s in Museums 6. 747s at Iconic Kai Tak Hope you enjoy. Cheers.

X-Plane 12.1.0 New Article & Features
GoranM replied to Inu's topic in The X-Plane General Discussions Forum
Definitely maybe this year. -
My theory.... Ray's friend did it on purpose knowing Ray would leave his home thinking about it 😜 He used a BGL editor .... Eheheheh... BTW... Where's Wembley? Is that a soccer club stadium? 😎

Yeah. Wow. There is no doubt this is better already. Captain Piett was right. This looks better, performs the same but also more accurate. Even with passive mode. I love AS (even FSGRW) for XP but AS was always better for me. After using it for years in XP11 and 12 this was surprising to hear they merged on over.
