  1. Past hour
  2. I believe iniBuilds hired more developers though. So they actually have more developer resources in total. Granted, it may take time to train developers so that they are up to speed on the API (both iniBuild's API and the MSFS API), and they are also up to speed with certain knowledge needed to develop aircraft (if they don't have that knowledge already). But assuming iniBuilds can get those developers up to speed, they can afford to spend the same number of developers per aircraft project. Then it's simply a matter if they can get the proper management in place to oversee their projects.
  3. 24 hours will be sufficient for most of us. If you want to fly in another season except for those wanting to fly in a particular season or recreate a real world situation. Hopefully they will also add historical traffic to match.
  4. I laughed out loud in disbelief when is was said about 700 people are working on the project, with 200 on the core team at Asobo. Really? What are that many people producing then? I don't see output from 700 people. If there are, they must be working part time one hour per day, with just one on the bug fixing, and another one reading their own forums for about one minute per week. Like I said earlier, the response to the long running tiling issues in DX11 / DX12 was appalling. I am glad that they got called out in the live questions over their response to this, even though it did seem to upset Jorg. I am just worried about Jayne's job now after she wouldn't let the issue go, as it did seem to rattle them - but good on her!
  5. It urgently needs bush tires for the last step to perfection!
  6. It's still how I see it, the GTA flightsim, but it looks gorgeous!!! Some addons can also make a difference, and help me forgetting about what I don't like about it. Same applies to the other two...
  7. Thanks to Black Square and Just Flight a new generation of true quality GA airplanes has arrived! Finally REAL flying and REAL owning-a-plane feeling with endless system depth is possible. Finally system failures that really happen when mistreating the plane or redlining the engine or by just using a plane for a long time (which means we get a plane that is really alive and reacting to the pilot). Planes now have quirks and unique characteristics and are stubborn to start up and save personalized cockpit features hobbsmeter hours and much more. Finally the sim is getting SUPERB GA-planes. No more dull and boring GA flights with incredible dull and boring default GA planes with absolutely no features and realism whatsoever and where nothing ever happens and every flight being completely the same as the previous one and the next one. Now we get flooded engines, tyres loosing pressure, spark plug fouling, planes that get dirty over time (+120 more failures for example in the also oncoming Duke, I am too lazy to list them up now πŸ˜„ ). Super awesome are the very unique and complete new radio panels, and of course the no GPS-screen-panel-options for the ultimate navigation challenge. So fresh and exciting seeing all these new awesome radio stacks instead of re-using and re-cycling the same Flight Simulator 2004 default Cessna 172 default radio stack + default GNS 530 again and again for eternity like we had in the previous decades in all GA planes. It feels so fresh and exciting not seeing the same FSX default instruments with no system depth no quirks and no interesting realistic behaviour again and again and again in all planes forever. The Tomahawk will get so many new and awesome and feature-rich and never before seen radio panels - I love it! And have you seen how much you can play around on these radio panels in the video? Just like the real panel in the real plane, no longer are all features in the cockpit instrumentation that are not purely strictly for going from A to B left out and cut away and "NOT SIMULATED" but everything is now simulated, all the details and quirks and just awesome stuff to play around. Just like in the real airplane with fine tuning various settings and sub-menus of all systems and navigation panels possible. Just Flight (and of course also Black Square, but I think they are just two product brands of the same company and therefore share the same new quality standard) are truly the saviours of GA-flying. For the first time since 1995 ... hm I donΒ΄t know how long flight simulators exist maybe even longer, they have managed to make GA simulator flying truly realistic, interesting fascinating, and of course dangerous and thrilling because of all the deep realistic features possible failures, and greatest cockpit realism ever. This new Tomahawk masterpiece will truly sweeeeeten the wait for the also soon released Duke series πŸ™‚ Surely the Tomahawk will be a pure feast for every true aviator.
  8. Hi, New version update available v1.0.0.0 (old v0.9.9.9). Fixed "Server Error" on some ICAOs and METARs (v1.0.0.0) Fixed Clouds too Darkness (v1.0.0.0) Fixed QNH display (v1.0.0.0) Fixed Humidity calculation (v1.0.0.0) Updated PDF Manual xMETAR Full (by spectrun) Regards
  9. To be truthful, I'm finding comments like this hard to understand, when, 'over the fence', you called MSFS the 'GTA Flight Sim' just 2 days ago.
  10. Is the new Tomahawk also from Black Square, or made with the help of Black Square? πŸ™‚ Awesome that means even MORE quality!
  11. Yes, and I didn't say that. But the more aircraft they develop concurrently, the less resources can be spent on each individual one. And that can't be good for quality, can it? Right now, iniBuilds are developing the A220, A320, BelugaXL (A330), A350, A380 and A400M. Plus supporting the A300/A310. That seems like way too much to take on, even for a big team.
  12. So this means it's not the A400M from Roland Laborie that was shown in the MSFS2024... I'm glad for Inibuild having success, but I wish other devs such as Roland would get a slice of the cake as well... His A400M, after the recent updates, is quite nice already in MSFS.
  13. Today
  14. A lot of users close their eyes to many aspects of how MFS offers a lot but with rather basic quality and / or coherence in it's implementation. Thanksfully there are deveopers who can turn their addons ( for Airbus I have to consider the FBW the best example, for weather HiFi with ASFS, for ATC (non-AI) FSHUD, ....) into really valuable examples of what can be done with a base simulator with an incredible potential, and a unique capability of portraying the World, even if in some aspects, like colours and lighting I can sometimes find P3D with some mods and XP12 doing an even better job... I am one of those users, and have given up trying to convince myself I can play XP12 or P3D only and find in each of those the satisfaction I look after in a simulator... MSFS is a temptation and now with someone who has long been doing some of the best ever improvements for weather depiction and effects simulation, I am even more feeling at home, and I want to believe MFS 2024 will make me feel even better !
  15. That’s how it’s always been. They are very confused and disconnected from the community in a lot of areas.
  16. Lmao if that constitutes historical weather then we already had that in 2020 as Meteofail at times was about 24 hours behind! what a joke.
  17. Interesting story worth a read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supermarine_Nighthawk Applied aerodynamics was in its infancy. They were imaginative enough to try even fancy designs then They abandon it just because they found a more efficient to destroy the Zeppelin she was meant to shoot down not because she was sluggish to climb.
  18. Hi Chris, thank you for your very honest words. Sometimes fate strikes hard and then all bad things happen at once. It really needs courage and most people in your situation would give up. Great to see you did not. I am really rooting for you, not just because you are creating wonderful flightsimhardware, but you are a very nice and honest guy. You just wanted to share your passion for flightsimming with us and what happend was not your intention. I belive in you and in Fulcrum and wish you all the best for the future. Good things sometimes needs patience and time. πŸ˜‰ I am so happy with my Fulcrum Yoke, was one of the best invenstments i made in over 30 years of flightsimming. I loved your throttle since you announced it with kickstarter. Was a nobrainer to order it. πŸ™‚ Looking forward, kind regards Chris (from Austria) πŸ˜„
  19. I think thats actually an "it depends" thing...I've played alongside SU15 beta players in the past but that functionality may now be broken on the latest iteration of the Beta, I'll try again this week sometime
  20. Then you should contact the makers. No one here has that throttle to help you.
  21. 24 h is all that I need to fly everywhere in the world with the proper live weather at the time I fly.
  22. You forget why MSFS 2020 was built and why they are building MSFS 2024. The only goal is Xbox and it's not too Airbus for this one.
  23. Yeah, I would have liked at least a week - and for others' sake maybe 6 month by the look of it. I like to save and resume flights when I'm ready for long-haul. Real life does get in the way sometimes! I'm happy to have ASFS instead now. Back home πŸ™‚ Although I still spend 95% of my time in P3D to be honest.
