    I have it on, but generally the kind of flying I do, I never really look at it. (airliners, Fenix etc)

    Low and slow for me most of the time, so I keep PG on. If I was a jet jockey, I would probably turn it off. The latest TIN photogrammetry is excellent though and from what I've seen it's going to be even better in MSFS 2024 later this year, so really looking forward to that. Because of the type of flying I do, I have a large amount of freeware PG on my PC too.

    This and the impressive growth of the quality freeware catalogue. Cambrian explosion-like. I remember early heated discussions with dire predictions that addons, specially sophisticated addons, would be a long time to come if ever because, you know, WASM is not the way to go and this is just a game for the Xbox and…, you know, Microsoft you can’t trust them 😆 etc. One can grumble now and then (I do and I will) but no doubt this is an impressive sim and a deserved business success.

    For me, photogrammetry often looks like a post apocalyptic sight of something that was a city 30 years ago. As I'm flying airliner most of the time, I don't see a benefit in having it on for now.

    I used to have PG off with my old rig for performance reasons, but always on since I got the new one.

    Anyone who opens spam emails is inviting trouble onto their PC and if they then open any untrusted links, whether in spam or not, the invitation is redoubled. The most likely "hacker" in that respect, is the PC user themself. MSFS may well run with the PC offline, but its main strength, the excellent scenery graphics, does not, not to mention live weather. My own view is that I will take the risk of a hacker getting past my router's hardware firewall, the Windows Firewall and Windows Defender, just to find out that there is nothing of value on my PC.

    Anyone that can answer this question : Are AS clouds also coordinate/cloud type/cloud structure based as in MSFS Live Weather ? Because of the above clouds at the same time and same coordinates look completely the same on each pc. In my case with 2 view pc’s I therefore have sync’d clouds on all screens. Probably Passive mode is able to do so but if I am correct it then is like MSFS Live Weather with some extra effects like turbulence. I am interested in AS Live Weather and before buying 2 licenses it would be nice to know..

    We should have compatibility with all toolbar mods very soon. Stay tuned for an update.

    They target anybody mostly with spam attachments. It depends on what you're using your pc mainly for. MSFS works offline, I don't need multiplayer.

    WebFIPs don't utilize CSS. It would help if you would post the actual code of that gauge, so I can try it on my end. Normally the fonts look the same in Desktop and WebFIPs, I haven't seen the effect that you describe before. Or send the gauge to me by email, the address is on the last page of the AAO manual. Please don't forget to send your proof of purchase too.

    That's an interesting approach. If the PC is actually offline, then MSFS will not work and if the simulator is "offline", then that just means that the multiplayer part will not work. I wonder why a hacker would target a single and innocent flight simulator enthusiast on one PC at home, when for the same amount of work, the hacker might be able to extract millions from a multi-national corporation.

    I'm usually offline for not be exposed to hackers etc. But from time to time I fly online to see the nice photorealistic textures. Wish I could save them on HD for later offline flights.

    I think this guy has proved that he is one of the greatest of all time with his Brussels and Oslo airport packages, so I would not expect anything less with Frankfurt.

    Maybe they can optimise this airport with a next update, i assume some LOD settings maybe are not correct, hopefully they find a way because the Airport itself is a fine artwork ! cheers 😉

    There have also been reports of other wx-addons being installed causing this issue of no wx depiction (in addition to the toolbar mod incompatibilities, which should be resolved very soon). Please make sure that you disable any other wx-adons.

    Always off, better for my System and i do not see this apocaliptic mess that mostly happens because i do not like it like this !! cheers 😉
