IniBuilds Beluga and A400M announced for MSFS 2024
Krakin replied to abrams_tank's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
What do I need a private preview for? MS told us all of the default planes will be payware quality and done by third party devs. -
I've noticed in the latest beta build that performance is great, but my GPU temps are spiking. Hopefully, whatever is causing my temps to spike will be fixed.

Please don't take this as being antagonistic, just curious. Are there really any enhancements over the NGXu other then maybe sharper visuals? I use the NGXu more than any other aircraft in my very diverse hanger. I bought the 737NG-700 for MSFS when it first came out and really didn't see any reason to repurchase these PMDG aircraft for the third time. I'm retired and they are quite (to me) expensive. Have they really added anything else?

He did say the 7th. I posted the link 2 posts above if people want to check.

I tried that right in the beginning but it did not make much difference, maybe I should try it again. -

I know what you mean. I don't want to fly this aircraft. It's slow. It's a basic trainer. There's noting here for me...but, it's JF and I love JF. Must...resist...arrrgh -

What's the betting that SU16 will principally contain the stuff backported from 2024? I have my doubts that we'll ever see SU17 unless it's planned as a final bugfix version. -
Which Wembley Stadium do you have?
Ray Proudfoot replied to Ray Proudfoot's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
That would explain the difference. -

I was a bit too quick to reply. I had forgotten that I have ORBX TE in those areas. -

I think they have. -B -
Wow. I would say you're quite qualified to be objective. I certainly can accept your opinion. I'm sure others do too. I just see it differently for me.

Historical weather planned for MSFS 2024
MarkW replied to abrams_tank's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
This potentially creates a huge problem on Vatsim when people may want to fly in daylight but have the wrong weather for the airport. I hope we have both options but it looks like nobody really knows how this will be implemented in practice. - Today

April 2024 Asobo Developer Livestream
Fielder replied to David Mills's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I think there are thousands of addons created by users on flightsim.to. And if you search for "MSFS" on youtube and check the filter box for 1 day, you will probably find about a couple dozen new videos every day. Some of them have maybe only 10 views or so, and they go mostly unnoticed. But they are there. -
Hello, there are a lot of water anomalies around the Quebec region, but fortunately some kind soul has fixed a lot of them. Check the file below, i tried it at CYGP and the issue seems fixed. https://flightsim.to/file/45564/quebec-province-water-corrections-wip 🍻

New User PMDG 737 Questions (MSFS)
FS++ replied to scmtech's topic in The Multi-Crew Experience (MCE) Support Forum
Before MCE automatically switches to GSX mode, it checks... 1 - A folder named "fsdreamteam-gsx-pro" is present inside \Community\ folder and has a wasm file named "sdt-msfs-bridge.wasm" is present inside \Modules\ subfolder. Perhaps you renamed your GSX folder in \Community\ folder. 2 - It then fires the key combination to trigger GSX window. 3 - Waits a bit to check if process "Couatl64_MSFS.exe" is running. Only when those conditions are met will the switch happen. I assume you have MCE installed to default folder. -
Historical weather planned for MSFS 2024
vgbaron replied to abrams_tank's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Mark - that is the exact definition of historical weather and why AS implemented it originally. The second you change the time it becomes historical weather but technically it is "live" at the time. -
I thought I heard Jorg say the week around the 7th of May, but he did mumble it because he was acting like he was a bit embarrassed about the delay.

BeyondATC official poll - release now or later?
techman replied to Fiorentoni's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Well, vectoring in SI was working today pretty well. I had 3 flights (simbrief, IFR) and I was guided from gate to gate without a problem. It followed the STAR to the fix and then vectored me smoothly to final. All done with the fenix, so it may be a different experience for smaller or bigger airplanes. It has some burps regarding taxiways though - but thats a problem that probably only FSHud solves "somehow" at the moment by reading everyones scenery files and taking care of custom scenery. -

Almost everything they make is either a fullblown slideshow or noticeably degraded performer for me. It appears to be their signature characteristic. My machinery is pretty beefy and nothing made by no one else receives the beating that Inibuilds gives it. I hope someone there figures out how to act nice, or they're ordered to by Microsoft. I do not fancy a base game heaving with their products with things as they are.

btacon replied to btacon's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
My guess? From my recollection the Duke is slated to use some SU15 features. Can’t release until SU15 is in production. The PA-38? Not so much I believe so no issue releasing mid flight SU15 so to speak. YMMV. TANSTAAFL -B
