    Ok its just a pretty face, but I get the feeling that is an increasing segment of the market, after all visuals are in my estimation the main area where MSFS stands above its competitors Luckily there are a few devs who provide depth, but ultimately MS will throw whatever makes a buck into the market place

    Beta players (SU 15) are not on the same server as the normal players (SU 14). There is no multiplayer between SU 15 users and SU 14 users. SU 15 users can have multiplayer with other SU 15 users. SU 14 users can also have muttiplayer with other SU 14 users. But SU 15 users cannot be on multiplayer with SU 14 users because they are on entirely different servers,

    There are a lot of RWP that post here on Avsim? Also, Stearmandriver is a real life 737 pilot and sometimes streams on Twitch. Nobody has disputed this and the other real life pilots here at Avsim (ie. Sd_flyer) and the real life pilots on Twitch aren't disputing Stearmandriver's qualifications and experience either (if Stearmandriver was posting inaccurate procedure and techniques about flying the 737 or flyjng in general, the other real life pilots in Avsim and Twitch would probably have outed him already).

    Format Seriously though, you aint on an old version, the update flashing briefly thing is just a thing. Either as others stated your son maybe on a beta (though tbh Im unsure that this affects multiplayer compatibility), or one/both of you have incorrect/not matching multiplayer settings

    I'd start with installing the latest beta as it changes the default transition settings considerably. Link a few pages back on this thread. Then see if it works better for you before tweaking.

    Well, actually, the upcoming (sooner or later) initial release without traffic is of course already a sort of half(-baked) version to generate cash-flow: they are leaving the traffic out! I also think MSFS 2024 is some sort of threat because no one knows if it will come with ATC improvements or not. If they wait too long with releasing at least something they may not be able to turn all their hard work into cast at all. The fact that they don't release anything NOW is a good thing though: that shows they do try to release something that's at least sort of working okay in most situations. (On Discord they are already starting to temper expectations by for instance saying that BATC will not work with all airports.)

    Yes, when it comes to the development of AI traffic control BATC seem to be rather years than months behind the already available FSHud, which has made some significant progress in the recent weeks. SayIntentions seems to make some nice progress as well and hopefully soon will get to developing AI traffic control too (they have to find a solution for their pricing issue of course...) Hopefully BATC has enough resources to keep going until they can come up with something competitive and won't be forced to release something half-baked to generate some cash-flow.

    Good to know that MK Studios are developing LPPT v2. I will wait for that one to be released.

    If the MAX cockpit has significant differences to the NG, then I would expect PMDG to model this in their simulated version. Despite the comment above about PMDG being "the masters of recycling", they do not generally release products with "cut and paste" content from another product.

    From what I understand, if you are using AIG Traffic: AIG Checkbox is selected, no need for AIG Traffic Controller. If you want to use AIG Traffic models with FSLTL injector: External Checkbox is selected, no need for AIG Traffic Controller. So basically, anytime you are running FSHud, AIG Traffic Controller is not required. Sorry, saw someone already answered your question.

    @G-RFRY Thanks though I already have HW monitor and know of my high temps even with the new affinity mask settings. I thought this would help alot of people with the i9 13900K and KS which is what I have. Thanks

    Sean, that’s good to hear. You’ll need to review your settings but before that I would just stick with what you have for a few flights and ensure the problem is fixed. 👍
