  1. Past hour
  2. Thanks for heads up I will stay on the current version for now 🙂 Thanks daz
  3. For me, the source sounds in the A300 are excellent. The issue (again, for me) is that they are mixed and configured rather oddly. As you say, some sounds are very loud. The engine sounds are trying to emulate a dynamic range (changes in gain and attenuation, depending on the flight phase). So at times you have screaming engine sounds, then at others (such as in late climb and cruise) they trail off to be almost untraceable. Engine sounds from the cockpit are dynamic IRL, but INI have exaggerated the efefct and it's all executed rather clunkily. I'm hoping that with new P&W engines, INI will take on board the feedback about the above, and make some tweaks. I still love the A300 though. I personally fly it more than the Fenix and PMDG combined. (And I love those two as well!).
  4. Actually with how I run my CPU it really isn't a bottleneck at all and that because I lock the rate to typically about 4 or 5 FPS below it's wide open rate on the ground. For example, in the FBW320a at FB's lovely KMSP which I just bought, wide open rate at the gate will be around 38FPS, so my lock is set to 34FPS, and consequently had an absolutely flawless departure. A 7800X3D should bring that up to 44 or so and would allow more traffic and higher TLOD both of which are very low priority for me, esp since using DynamicLOD--haven't bothered w/ AutoFPS. Could use a little more traffic but TBH this can translate to more holds waiting for traffic to clear. I think I have live traffic limited 6 or so and static 10.
  5. Sure, what Aircraft? I only have the Fenix installed right now.
  6. For Model Matching, go to 12:30 secs in this vid
  7. April 8th. Bummer but less than ten days or so away so I will survive. There’s always the Ini a320-251neo V2 to keep me busy in the meanwhile!😎 -B
  8. Probably harsh but true. Both aircraft hand fly very well and .I've enjoyed the Phenon more than I'd expected. Remember , you can't get away with spawning the Phenom on a runway ; start up is simple though
  9. After doing a bit of investigation it appears that DreamsOfWings got this information from Burning Blue, as I just saw it on their discord. The may be in direct communication with Asobo as they are a developer. I am having problems downloading it at the moment. It says my file is broken after each finished download, and I have tried three different times up to now. File sizes vary from 176Mb to 349Mb! Seems like a few are having the same problem.
  10. Hi, can you please make a short test at LFPG? I have very bad performance at this airport (30-35 fps), with or without FSLTL and I wonder if there's an issue with my installation.
  11. Ah wow, you have a 4090... Your CPU is a HUGE bottleneck...Get the 7800X3D you you will so how massive of an upgrade it will be.
  12. Just had this pop up in my YT. Lots of changes. She’s been gathering dust in the hangar since Fenix V2. I’ll try and find the changelog. Could you remind me what the issue with sounds is? My issue is that the flight deck sounds are deafening, I turn the volume down to 10% or so.
  13. This apparently affects simconnect and aircraft like the Fenix and PMDG 737 and others. They are working on a fix for this now. https://forum.simflight.com/topic/98295-new-fsuipc-update-kills-simconnect/
  14. Indeed, and that's actually the way I am running it too. Before I was running FSHUD only, and it injected it's own traffic. My "problem" is that I don't recall how to disable FSHUD's own traffic injection so that it doesn't conflict with the traffic injected by FSLTL ? There's a settings in the FSHUD UI where "External" is ticked in my case. I believe this is OK and ready for FSLTL to interrogate, as you explain above, for then injecting the aircraft at the airport and enroute, but: - is it possible to have only FSLTL work for the aircraft models and liveries and leave injection for FSHUD ? Anyway, my experience since I started using both this week for the very first time was rather positive until yesterday I had some weird conflicts, like FSHUD clearing both me and an AI Easyjet to bactrack and then takeoff from LPPR rw 17 😕 Also on arrival to LPPT another aircraft was vectored for final at the same time I was, and both of us authorized to land 😕 This had happened before with FSHUD standalone, so it's probably a bug in FSHUD, probably fixed with the upcoming 1.3 already in testing ...
  15. On their forum they are working on a fix for this now. https://forum.simflight.com/topic/98295-new-fsuipc-update-kills-simconnect/
  16. I think you are miss understanding, at least from my perspective. When properly configured, FSHUD controls everything. This is why FSHUD gives you a major performance hit when there is a lot of traffic because it is calculating and control each injected traffic. The ideal configuration for full control is to turn traffic off in MSFS settings. This keeps the sim from putting in any uncontrolled traffic. You then set FSHUD to utilize external injectors. Through the API, FSHUD will control/manage what's being injected. It's not looking at a database and injecting the traffic, it is controlling what the external injector is doing. This is why FSLTL will wait for FSHUD to load a flight and hand off it's injections to it. FSHUD has performance hitting settings in it, but FSLTL gives more fidelity on what, when and where other items can be loaded such as populating airports or airspace on a non interference bases. This configuration gives FSHUD the ability to stop traffic taxiing in your way or vice versa by stopping you. If there is a unsolvable conflict, FSHUD deletes the traffic. It also minimizes go arounds because it's managing the traffic. It's actually the big advantage FSHUD has over others until beyond ATC comes online looking to control traffic as well. In simple thoughts, when configured properly, injectors create traffic and hand them off to FSHUD for management through API.
  17. Funny you mentioned that, the last thing I did was update to the newest version of FSUIPC7, then the issue started
  18. I'm already pleased with a base locked rate of 34 or 35 with sterling FTV and rarely a hint of stutter anywhere. Bumping that up to 45 will be amply good enough in terms of rate. I have RTX4090 FE already installed and it is a fabulous upgrade even w/o FG. Here was the unexpected wonderful finding w/ this GPU: I now run my 3440x1440 display with a Render Scale of 160% and this has really improved sharpness beyond compare. Actually handles RS of 200% no problem but 160% is good enough and leaves headroom for weather etc.
  19. No one will force you to buy BATC before traffic has been added. I don't see a problem here. Those who think traffic is mandatory can wait and all others can buy it. Of course the development of traffic might (or probably will) slow down a bit due to an EA release and the to be expected flood of bugs being reported but still, everyone is free to wait.
  20. What need all the EFBs of all addons, is a tab for the original map-charts of Navigraph as it is the one inside the Sim in the upper tab options, Navigraph sure is happy of that because rise their paid subscriptions and give promotion and publicity to Navigraph, and more with their new function for to write in the charts. Only a Navigraph moving map..., and when the subscription ends?, there is no map? haha, better then include another source for maps like many other EFBs... Great and impressive aircraft this.
  21. Honestly this 7800X3D is a beast, especially paired with a 4070TI Super....with 16gb of VRAM. LOVING the performance.
  22. My bad! I see you've already done this test thanks! My guess was I"d see around 45FPS w/o FG in DX12, and that is very close to your findings. Cheers
  23. That would be so good! But alas, JF have confirmed release will happen during week commencing the 8th April.
  24. The first time i heard or saw FS was in the 80s at my late brother’s house. He was showing me his setup and he really loved it. When he passed i started getting into it.
