    P3D multicore usage anomoly

Interesting! Does it need to be running background for the limiter to work? The 64-bit options within the Settings need to be checked, considering P3D is 64-bit nowadays?

    Volumetric fog and ASP4/ASCA

To my knowledge, Active Sky determines the altitude of the fog layer automatically based on weather conditions. Whether that altitude is realistic or not is a different question, and in my opinion, there is room for improvement. Personally, I use a value of 25 miles for maximum surface visibility and 200 miles for maximum upper visibility. I also use Envshade. Maybe you could post some screenshots to let us see the problem.

  7. Well, there's LockLizard, for the low, low price of $4995. No, I didn't forget the decimal point. The best (and probably only) real countermeasure is to not put your material in the hands of someone who is likely to misuse it.
  8. Looks like the new Yoko+ yoke came out a couple weeks ago... any Avsimmers have one and care to comment?
  9. This video is a VFR P3D4 flight of a simulated Eurocopter. The flight departs from Gatwick airport, (EKGG), and arrives at London City Airport, (EGLC), in England,Great Britian. I am retired and a hobby flight simulator enthusiast user name Polymerman. I would be pleased for viewers to subscribe to my OVER YOUR HEAD PRODUCTIONS channel for new releases at This is a non-commercial hobby YouTube channel. This channel enables me to have a year round fun hobby and share it with others of similar interests. The following credits are from my elder memory so please forgive me if I leave some out. Please post a comment and I’ll try and update this area if possible: P3D4, Lockheed Martin, Orbx Simulation Systems sceneries including True Earth Great Britain South, Internal Workings VOX-ATC, HiFi Active Sky for P3D4, and Active Sky Cloud Art, EZDOK EZCA V3. A special thank you goes to: 1. John Martin aka downunda “vadriver" for the recommendation of the VOX-ATC app. 2. Restarted my PC, and now my FPS is lower

Is it possible that when you restarted something happened with your graphics driver? Your got going to max load suggests that your bad FPS stems from a massive bottle neck from your gpu, but if the hardware wasn’t changed, the only thing that could have happened was some sort of driver update, reversion or something of the kind. You might want to check your driver is up to date, or at least that it’s still the driver you had installed before you restarted your computer.

OLE error 80045017=Voices cease in VOX-ATC

John and Jay, Thanks for you input. I am using VoxAtc 7.42 and I do have a CereProc voice as the MS default voice. I submited a request to VoxAtc but no reply as of yet. Are they "off the air" so to speak? Interesting side note: my brothers and sister went to Manuel High School in Brooklyn that was renamed John Jay High because of the terrible reputation it gained. You guys have a great reputation!😀

The black buildings are primarily hangers at the airports...not sure if that helps.

Not sure if they have the same one, but there are several in the AVSIM library. You can also find some on the FeelThere downloads page, but you'll probably have to log in first.

    Very bad FPS (0,8-1,7)

Are your traffic files in the old fs9 format? Or are there old repaints not compatible in p3d?

    Flightbeam/Dreamflight SEQM Quito announced

I notice they expanded the cargo ramp to the 5th parking spot just added last year.... a good sign the airport is being created in its current state rather than already outdated like so many developers have done in the past. More previews and hopefully a release soon! Have to finally get my AI traffic up to date since I do not fly online.

Bad Support for LEAM and LEAL from Pilot's

You have to buy scenery the day of release and start emailing bugs to be found because they move on to the next project or drop the developer from their team and have no solution to fix any of the problems.

Is there any reason to use RTSS in lieu of NVInspector?

    Fokker F28 Fellowship inbound!

F28 Fellowship, that's a blast from the past. Living in the far North of Western Australia, during the 1970's I used to fly in them regularly down to Perth. They were operated by the now defunct MacRobertson Miller Airlines, known locally as Mickey Mouse Airlines Neil
