This stream auto-updates

  1. Past hour
  2. Installation simple but needs online connection. Weather depiction matched reality (once I had set my options! Oops). Using with both frame Gen and AutoFPS mods no problems encountered. FPS, actually noticed an increase in FPS flying over Spain with FG I have 70fps. So far so good, no heavy weather as yet as I'm using real time. Video of flight here:
  3. Me neither. I do note that in most cases, the newer aircraft won each face-off, for whatever that's worth. Can't believe more people voted for the Pipistrel than the Staggerwing!😶
  4. Still waiting for a update to the A310 as mentioned from Asobo in one Thread some time ago.. cheers 😉
  5. Another Steam user here. Never had to change or reset anything after the initial set up all those years ago. The current window resizing is annoying but I know it will get fixed with SU15. All my other settings are exactly as they always have been.
  6. The XBox App is causing has been causing this issue for me recently, the MS log-in didn't want to stick and when opening the app after a PC restart it always displayed "There was a problem with your account - Fix Now" There was no update available for the XBox app, but re-installing it seems to have solved the issue.
  7. I've looked at a few streams and haven't seen any long distance travel where you're more likely to see it. I'll make a point to highlight this in our product screenshots and other upcoming media. Thanks.
  8. 1. I would definitely recommend a new facial interface along with a replacement head strap. If you are sitting for MSFS only and you have a USB power source close enough by, you don't need a battery head strap since you can just run a USB cable for power if you are planning on flying for more than 2 hours. Having said that, I would recommend a battery head strap as the extra weight of the battery will help balance the headset instead of it being front heavy. I picked up a cheap battery head strap that works really well but wasn't quite heavy enough so I add some extra weights to it for make the headset perfectly balanced. https://www.amazon.co.uk/AMVR-Compatible-Accessories-Replacement-Breathable/dp/B0CNYGQ1SF https://www.amazon.co.uk/ARCELI-Compatible-Adjustable-One-click-Enhanced/dp/B0CL9BNJ8D I got the above head strap although I actually bought it on new on eBay for a good bit less. Adds an extra couple of hours runtime if you want, it very comfy and there are no buzzing noises. 2. Haven't had the need to clean the lenses yet as I avoid any contact with them but a soft dry cloth is probably best given the lenses aren't glass.
  9. I use Youtube premium, which allows me to watch videos commercial-free (without the need to use any tools), download them on my smartphone and listen to the audio while the screen is turned off. That service costs money, but if it's worth to you, I would give it a consideration.
  10. It's slowed for all slider settings so I do suggest bringing it back to 50 to try the new speed, and re-adjust after that. Also, a tip for checking transitions is to use the Dev Mode teleport tool (which bypassing AS location checking/instant reload of wx). Or any teleport tool that can change your location outside of the main UI new flight menu.
  11. That's odd. From the YT streams testing AS sofar i haven't seen any. Can you show something or tell me where to find example videos? (live weather obviously, no presets) I'm willing to try this product if it really improves in that area. thanks!
  12. Is the manual downloadable somewhere or does one have to buy the product first? I haven't seen it on the AS website.
  13. Short question - are the other transitions speeds also slowed down realative to that or is only the 50% setting affected? I have it set on 25% because I like slower transitions. Wondering if it will be too slow now and I should return back to 50% with the beta.
  14. Is this an MS Store issue? I'm on Steam and I set my controls, settings and everything back when the sim launched and never had to redo them, ever. Only graphical settings need some changes after I've re-installed Windows and the sim.
  15. Today
  16. Yep I have the same problem. Before opening MSFS start the XBOX app, login and then start the sim.
  17. Are you on the beta? I had this about three updates ago, all good now.
  18. Fixed here: https://forums.hifisimtech.com/threads/open-beta-update-b8874.14833/ And thanks for the report!
  19. // SimConnect data definitions enum DATA_DEFINE_ID { DEFINITION_DATA, DEFINITION_PDR, DEFINITION_CUSTOM_DATA, }; in the simconnect inspector only 2 are visible. Why? Thanks
  20. itznicholas or anyone in simming world cannot really give me suggestions regarding how to get a suitable radar?
  21. Probably not expecting that Metar...was expecting heavy rain at all times in the UK😁😁
  22. We generate cirrus in several circumstances, sometimes by METAR, but many reporting equipment/processes don't include or filter out high cloud layers. So we also use the model air data as well as our own synthesis for this, with some random influence. We like to generate it realistically. I think it is done pretty well. I see cirrus on nearly every testing flight with ASFS. Feather types are not visually supported on the sim right now through their wx depiction, but hopefully that changes (we're also working on some tricks to get around this for additional variations). For now there are some lower level cirrus (somewhat altostratus), and the higher stratocirrus, cumulocirrus, with perlucidus sub variations showing up now depending on lots of factors (data/synthesis driven with some randomness in the parameters as well).
  23. I've tried this mod. I think it mainly addresses the flight model, not the engine behavior. I have mixed feelings about it. It does seem to improve the ground handling and I think it gets slightly closer to the performance numbers of the actual aircraft in a given situation. I'm not a real Caravan pilot, but have RW experience in the C152 and C172. IMO the default flight model feels credible and pretty close to the numbers.
  24. I have flown the new version once. The behavior is slightly less problematic. But as TomL says, it still feels you are fighting the rudder what ever you want to do with this airplane that can land at less 80kts and feels heavy (also on take off) like a small liner. What ever is going on at SWS is not helping this product which still is fantastic in the visual and sound department. Over and out. Souheil
