  1. Past hour
  2. Already seen them twice in two days.
  3. Just got the email announcement. Going to mgetma copy, maybe you might too? https://www.justflight.com/product/pa38-tomahawk-microsoft-flight-simulator?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=New Just Flight PA-38 Tomahawk for Microsoft Flight Simulator - on sale now&utm_content=New Just Flight PA-38 Tomahawk for Microsoft Flight Simulator - on sale now+CID_8d5b685bdf467215f2673b0006f5e62b&utm_source=cm&utm_term=PA-38 Tomahawk -B
  4. Room112 is correct. That is probably the problem. Dave
  5. Maybe it‘s something else needed, flightnumber, departure runway in the LEGS page or something like that. No landing calculation isn‘t included (yet).
  6. Most will already be aware but the PA-38 Tomahawk is now released and available for MSFS. Product page can be found here https://www.justflight.com/product/pa38-tomahawk-microsoft-flight-simulator Out Now video for your delectation...
  7. An upgrade of the popular FStarter has just been released by rksoftare - FStarter24 MSFS. Here some video links of what can be done with this new release: : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-fKg0aCFTc&t=336s and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sZhmwlK_C-E&t=308s
  8. Ya could well be I guess.. it's just that before they announced the A350 and A380, they did pretty much confirm on discord they have an A330 in the works or in plan (also there are those A330 related files found in the early versions of the ini A320 which were then removed). Now with the BelugaXL (i.e. A330-743L) confirmed, I can't help but think there'll be an ini A330 in the MSFS 2024 default fleet too 🙂 Of course ini are being their usual coy and ambiguous selves.. when asked about having had early access to MSFS 2024 and its SDK, whether they're also doing an A330, etc on discord only the below answers were given.. at least they didn't flat out say no 😅 "The thing to take away from this is that its best to just wait and see what comes and when" "2024 will be a fantastic year for flightsimming for sure"
  9. indeed they do ...... AWC & others don't store metar/taf beyond 72 hours
  10. I hear you regarding that Dune screen ...
  11. & we remember them (my grandad, my dad) .... though we grow old but thank their legacy for today
  12. Today
  13. As some people have mentioned, the roadmap changed when SU 15 was delayed. If it's true that they are trying to release MSFS 2024 this fall (according to people saying Jorge "slipped up" in the Twitch Q&A a month ago and accidentally inferred the release data for MSFS 2024 was this fall), they are heading into crunch time for MSFS 2024 this summer, trying to polish it off, fix the bugs, and cram in the remaining features before it's released. They simply don't have time to do an SU 16 release in the summer, and release MSFS 2024 this fall, unless they are way ahead of schedule for what they want to do for MSFS 2024. But for a large software project involving hundreds of people, it's almost never on schedule. It's almost guaranteed that they are behind schedule, or probably barely struggling to keep to their schedule. That's the nature of software projects. Mind you, even for much smaller software projects, like all the planes that are released for MSFS, those are often delayed (ie. Randazzo thought the PMDG 737 could be released in 2020, and it was finally released in 2022). For larger software projects where hundreds of people are involved, it's almost guaranteed those projects fall behind, or the project lead and the end customer eventually decide to "cut" features so that they can stick to the schedule.
  14. Has anyone done a side-by-side comparison with Rex's Weather Force (which I currently use)?
  15. What worries me is that nothing is said or done about the servers used to eliminate the frustrating "insufficient bandwidth" message. These reports, with what I understand that, at least in my case, are appearing more and more during the hours where, depending on the geographical areas, there are more active users, are a limitation and IMHO, should be taken into greater consideration by professionals considering the importance of graphics in MSFS 2020.
  16. When you get to the create flight screen go into addon scenery and remove the X form the addon`s you mention, use a default aircraft and test. if the this stops the CTD add them back one at a time to try and track to the problem. PS GPU drivers no longer support windows 7/8/8.1.
  17. From the official blurb - We anticipate being clear for a release by around 11am (UK time) tomorrow morning and then the Marketplace release should follow much later in the day.
  18. Really? That will be a first then. Maybe they are doing it the other way around and releasing on Just Flight when they know it will be going on the marketplace. I prefer JF anyway. We get the loyalty points for the same price!
  19. Technically, they don't need to really store data for live weather. They can just retrieve the data live from the provider. But yes, they would need to interpolate if they wanted to save storage space, to store historical weather data. And also reduce the frequency that the data is stored, such as 6 hours in your suggestion, to further reduce storage space.
  20. Due to the MS / Asobo screening process and update cycle, the marketplace is normally a few weeks behind unfortunately. They are looking to speed it up.
  21. Data every minute sounds a bit extreme. They don't even do that with live weather, do they? And this is where plausability vs accuracy comes into play. Having plausible historic weather for up to one year in the past would be good enough for me. They could only take and archive 4 worldwide snapshots per day (so every six hours) and interpolate between them. That would already provide plausible weather for the date and time and would be a lot better than being limited to just one day.
  22. I agree they should do more hotfixes anyway. This routine of bundling it all up and waiting until everything is perfect isn't the best way to do it. I wish they would concentrate on specific issues one by one, and release the fix when it is ready, then move on to the next one. I am talking about bug fixes here, not new features, which is probably what the sim Updates (SU's) should be truly for.
  23. I think this is just the cockpit wear and tear which I actually like the look of and not the glass but I'll report back. Edit - Nope, it's the glass as well as the interior. I'd like clean glass with a worn interior so I'll try and work out which files are which. Or I could just live with circles, albeit 8K circles.
  24. I only know those exists as I had a look over the manual yesterday :) As JetCat mentioned earlier I definitely like the sophisticated modelling of things like the Garmin radios, looking forward to getting a chance to fly this when I finish work Now just need to persuade JF to add the open source KLN90 as a GPS option :)
