JF PA-38 Tomahawk coming with A2A-style features
Mace replied to F737MAX's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Releasing Thursday 4/25 per Final Development Update just posted on JustFlight's site: https://www.justflight.com/in-development/pa38-tomahawk-microsoft-flight-simulator#entry20240423 -
Thatβs what I did, but I guess hard drive space might be a limitation. I also made a backup copy of the AIG folder.

2 very nice pictures buddy! π

Put me down for a throttle mate. I see that prices now reflect the quality. I've always maintained that Yoko charge double for half as good. I think you've priced it/them just about right. More power to your elbow!

Excellent shot buddy! π

Asus PG279Q display (2560x1440) @100Hz Gsync fullscreen, Dynamic Super Resolution 3840x2160 on desktop (200% scale for my old eyes) and in MSFS, DLSS 3.7, Nvidia 4090, 13900KS CPU Absolutely stutterfree experience without shimmering using TrackIR panning since I read this article and changed my settings.

DX12 in beta has nothing to do with it though. Artifacts are just a consequence of using FG at lower frame rates. I have seen them in titles such as Cyber Punk for example when panning the screen quickly. Better drivers and versions of DLSS3 might reduce it in future, but it has got nothing to do with a fault in DX12. I do agree Asobo need to fix up DX12 and the sims interaction with it, as we still have a few other issues such as tile bleed, and the really poor water reflections from the cockpit when next to the structure of the aircraft, such as the window frames. Also, although the sim can run in DX12, there is next to no actual optimisation for it. Other titles show much bigger performance gains in DX12.

Why MSFS must be XBox like or die
bofhlusr replied to bofhlusr's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Said preacher thinks preacher knows what isn't known. Sim pilots think sims are real. π -
Did Asobo updated aerial imagery ?

haha the area is quite active. Flightradar shows pretty routine traffic. -

Great document on wind shear here: https://www.faasafety.gov/files/gslac/library/documents/2011/aug/56407/faa p-8740-40 windshear[hi-res] branded.pdf I remember how terrifying it could be doing RW landings in a light aircraft with the presence of wind shear.

FSHud Performance Latest Beta Build
tup61 replied to threexgreen's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Agree. For now. π If they can solve the vectoring it'll be even better. At least FHud works everytime all the time. -
I have to agree... Doing my second flight with AIG at 100% and well... I hardly notice longer loading times, specially because I usually do my planning (LNM > SB) during that time. Perhaps I'll keep it all LOL for whenever I'd like to fly somewhere else...!

Thanks for the update, Chris!

Guys, thanks a lot to all given comments, much appreciated ! cheers π

Haha that is true and I can thoroughly recommend it even though it is only summer textures!

Which Wembley Stadium do you have?

Thanks. I spoke to him but heβs not sure what heβs installed. Iβm sure youβll have the latest one with TE. π -

SI's GPT-4 integration is the future of ATC in simming. The ability to interact in natural language and have the ai controller interpret deviation requests has been a game changer for me... i love it and see the $30 a month subscription fee as helping to fund the continued development effort down this path. I fly strictly vfr in GA planes in Alaska - where i'm also a pilot in rl, and SI was super helpful in preparing me for my most recent flight review a few weeks ago. I'm 100% in on this technology, if they are utilizing machine learning like it appears they are... not only will it revolutionize ATC in simming, but it also puts some light on the inevitability of AI's role in real world ATC.

Poll: Graphic Artifacts with Nvidia RTX 40x DLSS Frame Gen
LRBS replied to Noel's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
If MSFS runs with FG has to be on DX12, it is in beta! I believe it would be a good idea to raise the issue with ASOBO and make sure it is fixed properly. Despite what some may claim, there are instances of CTDs and other issues related to the unfinished DX12 in this software. Another potential cause for these issues could be an improperly overclocked CPU and GPU. -
Hi simmers π ..as it was in the good old FSX days ?? We will see what the future says, perhaps all the aircraft that CS have now provided for the MSFS in the form of good exterior models will now gradually be joined by the matching good cockpits - that would be great ! If you want to see the shots in the best resolution then please click on the picture !! cheers π
