  2. Hey, not sure if anyone is aware yet, but BeyondATC has a poll up on their discord. They're basically asking if we want release soon with us as a single IFR with traffic to be added in a few months (traffic to come as a free update), or would we prefer to wait until it's all completed before release.
  3. I agree about the AI implementation etc, but there is no way in a million years I would pay anything like $30 a month for this, and I'm pretty sure many other simmers would feel the same way.

  9. Found it!! When I was going to open it this morning, I must have dragged it into another folder and when I launched MSFS it of course created a new folder which was empty.. Whew, that was a relief!!
  10. Sounds awful!! How on earth does that happen, I wonder <???>. Is this Steam or MS Store? However - if you *do* have to re-add everything, then do yourself a huge favour by using Addon Linker. You'll be able to place most of your addons in any location *outside of the Community folder*. It's much safer, as the only things that get put in there are symbolic links.
  11. Thank you Chris. He sent me a nasty message saying I should go elsewhere. He had asked me in the KRNO thread: "Hi PebbleBeach-Im wondering if you can build buildings. There are a few places I would like built in various locations. I have pictures you can have to see what building looks like. I Hope you can do it for me." I responded yes I would be happy to make whatever for him and he never responded. And scenery design is not a quick thing. You must model it in a 3D program and export it using MCX. You must then create a library for the objects before you return to MCX and make a BGL for the scenery. It can take hours in some cases. But I offered to do it. No response. He just kept continuing to beg others for more things. Oh well. Mitch

  13. Hi all, This morning, I opened my community folder and it is completely empty! All the addon's that I've installed over the past couple of years are no longer there. The sim runs fine, but Fenix, Inibuilds, Black Square, Just Flight, Flysimware, etc... aircraft are not in the sim any longer. I'm assuming any sceneries that I've installed are missing as well. This is the Premium version of MSFS and I've never participated in any of the betas of the sim. I've searched all the drives on my computer and cannot find the items that were in there. I've checked the recycle bin as well. I shudder at the thought of having to re-install everything again.
  14. Regarding weather: If you talk about runway assignments - FSHud does consider weather conditions on runway assignment but there are some issues with forecasts. It was improved in upcoming version. If you talk about vectors for CB avoidance, I don't think it's possible to implement at all - because MSFS weather SDK is completely closed and you don't have any way to pull the data about current MSFS clouds map. The main purpose of upcoming update is to maintain traffic separation. Currently it\s done by speed control and vectoring. Holding patterns will come more later, but still in scope of version 1.3.   17. I used AIG (full package) from day one, even with their old interface and never regretted it since then. I did try FSLTL for a while until I realised that an unrealistic number of parked airplanes could not be correct (for example four TAP planes on Geneva tarmac at the same time and same phenomenon at some other airports). So I stick to AIG to have a more realistic picture of what the probable traffic is at the time of my flight. This is especially useful if I fly out of a Far-East airport where the time difference is 7 to 9 hours, AIG will provide for that, FSLTL obviously can't.
  18. GPU-Z can be installed anywhere but just needs to be already running when AutoFPS starts. I did it this way so the app isn't continually looking for GPU-Z, so it only checks once on start up.

  22. I don't think I've ever heard this guy as underwhelmed by an add on as this. He's normally overly impressed by pretty much anything.
  23. Great discussion here and a great contribution to a better and better sim experience.... I just want to share my recent experience. I have a Ryzen 7800X3D paired with an Asus RTX4090 and a 21:9 Ultrawide 3440x1440 60hz monitor.. I have tested the DLDSR 2.25x option + DLSS Quality.... vs just DLSS Ultra Quality.... Frame generation enabled in both cases... nvngx_dlssg and nvngx_dlss updated to 3.6 version.. all MSFS settings to Ultra and TLOD/OLOD 150.....no question about the performance in terms of FPS...in both cases the FPS and Image quality are great, but.... I need to enable Vsync (through Nvidia Inspector) to avoid screen tearing (and doing so I have my FPS capped to 60), and every time the FPS drop below 60, even just around 56 or so, I have got heavy stuttering... this is particularly occurring in cases such as Inibuilds EGLL, with Vatsim traffic, using Fenix, where I have fps ranging from 45 to 57.. the only way to have a perfectly smooth sim also in those conditions is to set my monitor refresh rate to 30hz and use Adaptive Vsync 1/2 refresh rate...this caps the FPS to 30 and everything is perfectly smooth even in the heaviest conditions, and visually stunning. I know that most people will scream that it is meaningless to have such hardware to run at 30 fps, but whoever has experienced this has realized that 30 FPS smooth, and I repeat again "smooth", is the sweet spot for heavy addon scenarios and aircraft in MSFS. Having said that, I have made three flights in the last few days, one with just DLSS Ultra Quality, and two with DLDSR 2.25 + DLSS Quality, and while the first one was successful, both the ones with DLDSR, although giving a slightly better visual quality, ended up with a screen freeze and a video driver error message. So to summarise my experience so far: DLSS Ultra Quality great performance and visuals..... DLDSR+DLSS Quality similar performance, with slightly better visuals but still some fine tuning to be done to avoid issues... I will need to build up a more significant number of test flights. Ezio
