This stream auto-updates

  1. Past hour
  2. If only Asobo would implement this , so we AMD users can use it properly also. although I a m happy at the moment with my smooth fps without FG, but it is a bit ironic that it's not yet available for AMD
  3. And 1 month after release MS2024 will come out and everything starts over 🙂
  4. Avsim today: "Release it NOW, iron the kinks LATER!!!" Avsim in a month: "I can't believe they released an unfinished product. Absolutely unacceptable."
  5. Given its primitive automation (compared to modern airliners) it is certainly more of a challenge to fly and stay ahead of than the A320 or 737. However it’s oh so satisfying when you get it all correct.
  6. It's a fantastic update, can't wait to come back to the Bae146. And even more incredible, it's a free update for current users. Thanks you Just flight and I definitively will buy more of your produtcs in the future.
  7. There are a couple of things going on. First, even if I maintained True airspeed with altitude, the indicated airspeed would still decrease due to lower air density into the pitot static system. Secondly, due to the fact that speed of sound decreases with altitude, the upper limit on airspeed ( True, and hence Indicated ) needs to be lowered with altitude to avoid exceeding mach limits.
  8. I think it's pretty rare to use the VR controllers outside of Aerofly or X-Plane... Msfs seems to be pretty hit-or-miss on implementation.
  9. FSLTL...because AIG takes ages to load traffic 🥱 (I hope to be proven wrong) I only keep AIG for when I feel like using FSHud for ATC (instead of PF3).
  10. I installed everything using OCI a few weeks ago. Just ran manager 30 mins ago and it did download quite a few new flightplans (and models I think). I'm going to test AIG at different airports now. Interested in what traffic volume my hardware will allow me to run at the biggest hubs. And how the airline variation will be (currently the AIG folder is 52.5GB). I wonder if I will ever see any Hobby Lobbys? Or Hokkaido Air Systems? Or perhaps Queen Bilqis Airways? The automated download system is much improved. At least during the 1.5 years ago since I actively used it. And yes - you need both AI manager and Traffic Controller. The former to install models and flight plans. The latter only if you want to use their proprietary injector. Traffic Controller: AIG Manager: When updating flight plans, it occasionally fails to do so automatically, directing you to a website for manual download. I usually skip this part, although it's not tricky to do.
  11. Thanks to everyone for their two cents in this thread. I'm tempted to give AIG another try out of curiosity but I'm intimidated by their download structure, the last time I had to go through each model and change a code, has this been updated? Also, if memory serves me right, do I need to download the manager and the controller just for simple injection? Cheers
  12. It's more complicated compared to an Airbus & Boeing for sure. But like for everything, there are tons of tutorial videos on YT to master the beast.
  13. Interesting. I've been doing a lot of challenging approaches in the Fenix lately, with autothrottle off. Not as tricky as I originally thought. But doing that for about 5-10 minutes is one thing - for a several hours long flight though... She's certainly pretty, can't argue with that!
  14. Thanks, seen him before but he doesn't use vr controllers, he uses a mouse only.
  15. As the saying goes; when one door closes another door opens
  16. I've had the same problem for a long time, but I have not seen it for the last 2 weeks. I'm not saying that this is a fix, and it may be a complete coincidence, but the problem has not shown up on another Fenix flight after I installed the "2023_TFHT_2 + Firmware [System Requirement: Windows® 10 / 11]PC" package from Thrustmaster's T.16000M support page. I didn't even know this driver existed as I simply plugged in this stick and started using it last summer. The only change that I notice is that the Windows Control panel now opens up a customized Thrustmaster control panel instead of a generic joystick control panel.
  17. The bae146 has a TMS, which is a poor mans autothrottle. You basically set a target (N1 or egt) and the TMS will do it's best of maintaining that target (for each engine I might add!). White up / down arrows will indicate if you manually need to adjust the levers to indicated direction in order to achieve set target for TMS. It's very intuitive once you get the hang of it though, you just need to remember that it can only adjust each thrust lever for small ranges. Think of it as a screw handle in a vernier mixture lever. the TMS is doing the fine adjustment (screw) you are doing the coarse push/pull. TMS is disengaged for landing. I was part of the beta for this bird in P3D back in the day so I'm strictly talking about features found there and from memory, but the MSFS variant is probably the same.
  18. Ucheck that box and see how it changes performance otherwise. ◘ Decrease Cloud Quality
  19. I am going to give that curve a try Murmur ! Thx !
  20. Lots of brave people on this thread flying on a Max...😉
