Yes, you are correct! I thought I did a thorough job of searching this out for the past week but I must have failed to notice the Hotas 4 and Hotas 1 differences. I'll keep he Hotas 4 for the computer and will soon have a Hotas 1. Thanks very much for your response. -George

Just acquired an XBox X for use with FS2020 and have (after multiple attempts over several days) been unable to pair/install the Hotas 4 via the appropriate menus on XBox. There were no issues mating the XBox Controller to the console and it functions without any issues. The connection of the Hotas 4 to thst e XBox console via the HDMI cable is fine (the light on the Hotas is illuminated). I also use the Hotas for FS2020 on my computer and it works well there. Suggestions to resolve the problem would be appreciated. -GeorgeM

There is a printable manual available for download ($13.50 U.S.- PDF) that I've found extremely helpful in addition to the many exceptional videos that have already been mentioned in this thread. Despite a multitude of years in flight-simming I have really been challenged by some of the procedures and tasks necessary to accomplish or set up a given event. I think that step-by-step details are lacking and programming joy sticks, keyboards (and other components) can be tedious! This however, is my sole complaint related to FS2020. I think that the developers have expended an enormous amount of time on trees and have virtually dismissed the cause of the tree height (or lack thereof). I really have been disappointed with the absence of weeds which significantly affect the effective growth of greenery (especially in the Land of Oz). I think the inclusion of weeds amongst the trees in scenery development would reveal the cause of the abnormal growth of the trees. In turn, third-party developers could include weed insecticides or fertilizers (with special Down-Under ingredients) in their new scenery creations and everyone could look-up (or look-down) with pleasure at the scenery enhancement! I think that I might like weed(s)! Do you like weed(s)???

Print out several copies of this thread and hand it to each of the Microsoft reps. If you cannot address all of the items verbally at least they'll have a hard copy in hand to which they can refer. This thread thus far, has a multitude of intelligent and appropriate questions and suggestions (minus the obvious) that should not go unanswered.-George M

I bought Aerosoft-My Traffix X for FSX a couple of years ago and when I went to the appropriate site to download a major update for the product I was denied access because I had not purchased My Traffic X directly from them...!Thanks for the info.-GeorgeP.S. I should add that I did order the Connie from J&R Photo and I know that the developer has an update that should be released in the near future; I don't (hopefully) anticipate a problem.
