  1. Great set Darryl! Love ANA, classy livery and good airline. Shots 1 and 6 are my favs.
  2. Been flying the 737-700 exclusively the past few weeks. 🙂 Always come back to my USN C-40 because I can fly it just about anywhere without adhering to an airline schedule. Testing many route variations. Can't wait to start testing the other 737's....then on to something.....bigger. 🤔
  3. Hoping @Mir // Flightbeam will bring their excellent KMSP to MSFS. I think Mir said he would...but its been a while since I checked.
  4. Those, EDDF and EHAM and my list of major airports would be pretty much complete.
  5. Me-wow! 😆 Great paint J.
  6. Thanks @Phantom88, @andy1252 @P_7878, yeah its my go to 737 when I'm flying a route that certain airlines I want to fly only offer A3x service to. And if I just don't feel like carrying unruly civilian pax, LOL. At least with the C-40, you're carrying either all cargo or cargo and disciplined military folks. 🙂 Plus I just like the looks of the livery...not to mention my past Naval experience. 😉 Sadly, the Navy took off all the identifying marks that made her look cool...and the current C-40s only have the stripes and the number on the tail...pretty boring, so I fly the version that flew when the world was not so crazy and we could fly our colors without fear of some whacko taking it out with an RPG. 😠
  7. Looking good Frank! Glad to see you're still creating liveries for the awesome Hjet for your virtual flights to sporting events 🙂 You should plan a fuel stop/leg stretch event for your long Oakland to KC trip. Maybe stop at an airport you've never been to before that you can maybe find a good rendition of on flightsim.to? I've been doing some Comanche flights to places I've never been before...its a nice diversion from all the PMDG airliner testing I'm doing at the moment. 😉 And I did do a quick Hjet flight to test the slick Simbrief integration...man am I rusty on that plane! Did a Tampa to Key West with her....she got to park in a hangar after the dusk flight!
  8. Thanks! I actually painted this one a while back. Back then I determined the best solution of the dilemma that PMDG did not create an actual 737 combi model was to use the pax model and paint the main cargo door on. This was the best solution IMO because painted on windows generally don't look that good. The down side of course is that you would not have a working cargo door. Well...I re-thought my solution and grabbed a few samples of the windows on the pax model in the sim and applied them to the freighter model...and it turned out better than I thought. 🙂 Now if I can only convince PMDG to add the airstair option to the freighter, which the real C-40 has. 😞
  9. Trying to get her loaded and in the air down in Key West before this wicked storm hits....may not make it.
  10. I use this function all the time when testing many flights on the beta team. The feature works fantastic (Automatically drops to x1 when approaching waypoints), and with all the flights I'm testing on the 737 every day, there is no way I'd be able to test everything I need to on a series of full flights...from departure prep to shut down at the destination. I can literally test 4 times more complete flights with the feature....and one thing that helps validate issues is many flights with the same conditions vs 1 or 2 because of the real time it takes to complete a typical 737 flight. This feature is even more important when testing long range aircraft. 😉 One of the best, if not well-known, features on PMDG aircraft IMO.
  11. Good point Ray. At least narrow down what the issue could be because you can't get a much better system than BC has. If the 737 has good frame rates then that could be an issue with the plane and his combination of sim settings. A 7800X3d and 4090 with those frame rates should just never happen 🙂
  12. I may have overlooked that...but it looks like he edited it to maybe include that (I can't recall the original text)...so I ammended my reply when I say it to answer his post.
  13. All those using addon linker who see your request will chime in here and sing its praises (including me). It does exactly what you're looking for @Virtual-Chris and I use it for that as well...makes loading MSFS so much faster and keeps the community folder clean and neat. Over 275,000 downloads already...its a must-have piece of software for MSFS IMO. Here is the link https://flightsim.to/file/1572/msfs-addons-linker Ahh that you use addon linker...so add to my reply concering your question. No....I don't keep all my scenery in the Community folder...most (but not all) is in another folder that addon linker creates its symbolic links to. The ones in the community folder are ones that I didn't feel comfortable installing off-community folder like commercial purchases that are using an installer. The great thing is that you can arrange your addons in logical folders that works best for you. For me...I use the following you see below, with the USA sub-divided in to 4 major areas..as I fly there most and only load the airports I might visit in the current MSFS session.
  14. Complacency is probably flightsimmer's biggest enemy when finally getting an aircraft that simulates what happens to an airframe when you abuse it in the sim as if it was real-world. We're all guilty and its just human nature because our minds tell us that if we crash in the sim we don't die....no matter how much we think we can overcome that thought. Its a great lesson learned...this plane will "keep you honest" and bite you, just as in the real world as far as the simulated outcome. You can go 200kts in the Carenado Mooney and drop the flaps, gear, etc....you'll get the simulated aerodynamic effects, but not break anything. Not in the Comanche 🙂 Just a great airplane to fly in the sim...shortcuts will eventually catch up with you. 😉
  15. Your screenshot invoked me to just about congratulate you for creating such a funny (but fictional) aircraft registration just to see if anyone was paying attention. After Googling that reg, I instead have to congratulate the owner of this REAL aircraft for that honor. 🤣 I can only imagine the hilarity that ensues when they repeat his call sign and others on the frequency sound out the two words. 😆 They must be like "Oh F---...here comes OH-FUK" Can't wait to add this beauty to my virtual hangar.
  16. He noted that its a "NEW" position as EU Community Manager, so I'd assume he'd be working along side her.
  17. The integration SB/Navigraph has with all the major aircraft we typically fly in the sim makes it, to me, an absolute requirement for flying any flight that requires a detailed flight plan. If I only every used the sim to hop in a Cessna 150 and fly around the local area then land, then not so much...but IMO it is as much a necessity in MSFS as the wings on the plane you're flying. 🙂
  18. Quite correct Bob. The beta testers are under strict NDAs, and all the info on the 777, while the NDA is in effect, is coming from Rob and Rob only. However, one thing I can freely say is that I'm planning on bringing the liveries I painted on the P3D version of the 777 to MSFS, including this one: I've also painted FedEx and a few other freighters as well...but I know that when 3rd party painters get their hands on her, you'll see a flood of liveries hitting the web. As soon as the NDA is lifted, expect me to provide some preview screens of her here on Avsim and answer any questions the beta testers are allow to. The 777 is my favorite aircraft, and I'm just as excited as everyone about her coming to MSFS. 🙂
  19. Just took her on a short hop...nicely done!
  20. Nice Ryan and @Tim-HH!! Make sure you're not painting more than you're flying! I've gotten into that mode in the past...but between testing for PMDG and other projects, not much time to paint. Will fly this paint when she releases though...very beautiful livery!
  21. Especially if you're flying her around in a custom livery eh? 😉
  22. That raises an interesting question. I "painted" this bare metal plane...but is it actually "un-painted"? 🤔. Since I believe it is...I've offered it for $0.00 at flightsim.to. 😆
  23. Hmmm.....I've been doing it wrong all these years. If I could get $7 a paint, I could have quit my day job years ago! 😁
  24. I just have to quote Bugs Bunny® when I see this line..."I knew I shoulda' made a left turn at "alba-koikey"
  25. You should be able to by editing a few config files for a particular livery....not at my PC to check it out but pretty sure its possible.
